Free Pet Care / Wildlife Workshops This Friday / Saturday & Sunday @ Pets at Home

Found 26th Oct 2017
Kids at a loose end? Pats at Home still have lots of Free Places on their fab Pet Care Workshops tomorrow / Sat & Sunday UK wide.
Really informative & great fun, what could be better than cuddling a bunny on a cold October day?
Find out how to keep your pets happy during the colder months, as well as keeping the wildlife in your garden safe during the Autumn and Winter, at one of our FREE My Pet Pals workshops. These workshops will help teach children all about seasonal pet care; including staying safe in the dark, keeping outdoor pets wrapped up for winter and how to make sure pets are cared for during fun human events like Bonfire Night and Halloween.

There's plenty to see and do in-store, where children can meet our friendly pets, get the chance to do some great activities and talk to our store colleagues about all of your pet questions.

Best of all, they're completely FREE!

Come along and join the fun, we can't wait to see you! The material we use within the My Pet Pals workshops is aimed at children from the ages of 5-11, although children of all ages are welcome to come and join in the fun.

Great! a free pet workshop, BUT if you take the kids you will be going home with a bunny, guinea pig, goldfish or hamster. You have been warned!
I have booked a place for my daughter on Sunday, hopefully after the session she will be a bit more confident when handling our pets. Plus they give tips for keeping your outdoor pets warm in winter. We already have 2 budgies , 2 rabbits and a hamster so won't be able to get any more. Heat added ☺

Please be warned ....l took my two daughters along to one of these a while ago. It was so bad it was embarrassing.....
I went up to the desk to say I was there for the kids workshop, so she called a young girl over who literally stood there for 20 minutes talking about birds in the garden and how to care for them. It's was all talk about their products and pushing a sale . It was a bitter disappointed and I was pretty annoyed as my girls had been looking forward to seeing and holding some animals and some activities. Nothing for kids at all , they just stood there bored to tears. I had to take them off somewhere else to make up for it . NEVER again !
