All you have to do is drive properly like i know all HUKD members do!

Download this App: play.google.com/sto…sed

Sorry only for Android no love for iPhone yet.

Drive 20 miles fill in a form on the app, get a free cradle and charger within 30 days. Exp 30th November 2012

Drive additional 250miles and get a free £25 cheque within 30 days. Exp 30th November 2012.

T&C, keep in mind your phone will need GPS and 3G to record where you go and how you drive. After 300 miles uninstall app if you want.

I already did my 20 miles today and filled in for a free cradle/charger.

Now also for Iphones , as its on the app store

Not sure but i have now installed it on 2 of my androids and about to go out to do another 20 miles, gym food shopping etc. i guess you can get as many "cashbacks" as you want.

Heat added for a decent no-hassle freebie, though I don't know whether I'll try it myself - I have concerns over the quality of the data and what happens to it.

As far as I can tell, it doesn't know speed limits. So I could be told I'm a great driver even if I'm doing 60mph in a school zone (as long as I accelerate/brake gracefully), or if I'm crawling along at 50mph in the middle lane of the motorway. And obviously it can't detect non-GPS related hazards, such as failure to indicate, using your phone while driving, flicking V-signs at concientious road users, or honking/flashing lights inappropriately. Though if they know you're a BMW/Audi driver, they could probably just flag this up automatically.

Ok that idea went out the window, was going to dust of my old Nexus 1 and htc hero and start a living on just driving around and collecting free chargers and cradles

I just went on the link, clicked that i had installed the app and then filled in the form and was told i will have it in 2 weeks! Hope i get it, was going to buy a cradle for phone today.

Anyone checked if this app is data hungry?

Thanks OP, just installed ready for my drive home later.

Precursor to tracking devices in all our cars, YAY!

looks a safe bet for the returns...cheers

Top deal - thanks for posting. eBay 99p here I come

I wonder if the data generated will be used the next time you apply for/renew your insurance?

this must be in freebies section

OK, so how do they associate your phone with the details entered into the application form - i.e. how do they know the person filling in the form really has travelled 25 or 250 miles?

There is nothing in the terms and conditions that says you have to provide the same email address for the claim form(s), as is used by the Google Play account?

downloaded and just went out for a 15 mile bicycle ride. tracked journey and gave me 4 out of 5. not far off my charger now. ha ha

Yay something for Android first rather than iphone!
Just installed, worth a punt

Great Deal!

Too bad its not on the iphone

How will they use the data collected? If it deems me a bad driver (unlikely) will I somehow be paying extra for my insurance for the next 10 years? I've no intention of going through confused.com btw, currently with Priviledge

Installed and tested. 5 out of 5 for my first journey!

same for me and also you can fill the £25 form out as well worth a shot

I'd pay someone £25 to STOP them following me around and pointing out my mistakes.

I don't have a car but I can sure as hell measure how well my bus driver drives!

I don't have driving licence.. though voted Hot.

Install the app and use it on the bus! lmao.

It says confused. Com do not share any of your driving data or location with anyone in the app T&C

well, the reviews of the app on google play are pretty poor, but for the sake of the freebies alone it's worth a punt. Think I'll apply for the cashback first, then the cradle after just in case it's one or the other.

Have had it in my pocket as I'v been walking around, apparently I don't walk very safely.

Sure, all bmw/audi owners are poor drivers. Everyone else follows the highway code to the letter.
What do you drive? 15 years old toyota or vauxhall (no offense to vauxhall and toyota owners)?

Good deal but what's in it for Confused.com?

According to reviews it does not record millage properly. 200 mile journey and it only registers 3 mile lol.

Definite contender for lowest rated app on Play Store though. I wonder if that's all through people that its given low scores to?

I drive nights - trunk to Glasgow and back, so 1 night is 400 ish miles. Start it going North of Lancaster and it's a safe bet that cruise control at 52mph is going to get 5/5

Question is, how do I know this cradle will fit my phone (Desire HD)? Tempted to do it if I know it will fit

App just told me that my bus driver is a complete maniac and shouldn't be on the road. Should I report him to the school transport people? 8)8)

Isnt this offer for £25 cashback relevant only on car insurance policies purchased through confused.com??

Thats what i felt it implied.
