£4.99 for me
Worked for me - thanks OP
I don't see why they would do this but I guess they are, wouldn't it benefit them for people to use the card physically. Mine is going to expire and got a new one "free"
£4.99

Yes
I've been tempted to move over to Starling after recent login issues. I don't see any disadvantage either, Starling offers upto £300 a day withdrawals, Revolut is only £200 a month fee free.

Am I missing anything? Staring card is free too

IMO Starling is better, but no harm to have both. I use Starling often, but I carry Revolut with me as well when I go abroad.
Cheers op, saved me £4.99
Tried to login says my account has been deactivated , pathetic I didn’t even use it ..

The reason when Revolut started was to make you pay for the card because they wanted customers to use the card not tyre kickers that would send for the card and then toss it aside these cards cost money to produce and to keep costs down this was the way they went, keep costs down and pass it on to customers.

Lol.

If you didn't use it no surprise that deactivated it.

People need to view starling as a standard bank account. Why not mive to it and have your wages paid in. If you just use it for fee free then eventually they’ll have to withdraw it. They need to make money somewhere. Why not keep your traditional bank open so they waste their money sending cards for nothing.
I thought you had to have a card to get an account..

I moved over to Starling after my Revolut card kept being rejected by banks in Eire, even though it was accepted at every Supermarket and other shops.

I *LOVE* this.

As you can't talk to them on the phone you don't get to hear the slurping moist inhale of breath but it certainly fits some of the "Adviser Chats" I've had with them over the past 12 months.

Worked for me thanks
Well after being with Revolut from almost the beginning and championing them all this time I have divorced myself from them as of today. As they are getting bigger with all the extra offerings and changing access to what I require it is getting to difficult to navigate the app so I have sent my balance to Transferwise a company I have been with longer than Revolut but they did not have a card at the time so Revolut was the option I took. But I now find that I get more money sending international transfers with Transferwise than I do with Revolut who seem to have started giving a small but less favourable exchange rate than Transferwise who charge a small fee for the transfer but give a more favourable exchange rate because they don't use the mid rate bank rate and also there are no receiving payments to whom you are sending. A look at their web site will explain all.
