Free Pillow Fight Event in London

Ok since there is no free events page on this site I've posted it on freebies...seems like an amazing evening. I got the link through as an email and loads of people seem to be going, so I thought I's share

Its not a flash mob, its a PILLOW FIGHT!!!
Location: Trafalgar Square north side of the fountain (on the National Gallery Entrance side)
Date: Friday 26 June, 2009 when Big Ben strikes 6:30pm
RULES

1) Tell everyone you know about PILLOW FIGHT (bring a pillow) !!!
2) Wait for the Big Ben to strike 6:30pm precisely and then start!
3) Dont hit anyone without a pillow (unless they want it kinky lol)
4) Dont hit anyone with a camera
5) Someone yells Stop!, goes limp, taps out, their fight is over
6) SOFT pillows to be used ONLY
7) HAVE FUN!!!

(Rain plan: put your pillow in a plastic bag, see Rules 1 7)

Well, we subsidize the rest of the country so we must be :-)

Thanks, I need something to do after my GCSEs hehe

I shall be there, ready with my pillow, ready to strike down any challengers!

I am now wondering if I should post a deal for a "Free London Nude Cycle Ride" - that was real fun to do!

I just finished my GCSE's
I can release my stress there LOL!
I will strike anyone in my path!

this looks like jokes i might be apart of this nice1 for sharing the event

I work for a well-known personal liability organisation. Obviously several of our top solicitors will be on hand to provide legal advice in the event of assault.

Yeah it's a flash mob, but not using the negative word "mob". They are using the even more negative word "fight". Police will be aware of it. It's not strictly an illegal thing but....

If there are a lot of people turning up, prepare to be put in a kettle if you are carrying a pillow around Trafalgar Square at that time.

Flash mobs were fun when they were relatively small and underground but I wouldn't want to go near one today.

These events can be lots of fun and all, but I really don't want to see hotukdeals filling up with daft adverts for flash mobs.

Coming soon, a post about these great buildings full of books you can read for free all week...

Sorry, but very very colllllld!

That's why I said it was a flash mob that doesn't use the word "mob". It fits the exact definition of a flash mob.

err no it doesnt. A flash mob specifies a time frame for how long the pillow fight will last. So, the flash mob guidelines would be for example "at 6:38pm everyone will stop fighting and go home" this obviously doesnt happen in this event

I stand corrected.

I thought the "flash" part was the interesting part in the mobs anyway, usually starting unexpectedly (to civilians) just lasting a minute or two and then stopping inexplicably (to civilians) as everyone (is suppose to) just walk away nonchalantly.

So this is just a large group of people fighting for an indeterminate amount of time? Enjoy your police kettles.

How long will it last? When we people know when to stop?

And as fun as it sounds theoretically, all it takes is one hyped-up person to take it too far.

sounds like a tmobile effort if you ask me!

This isn't another T Mobile ad again is it?
