With the summer hols fast approaching (& some kids have already broken up), I've been looking around for extra things to do on our upcoming trip to London with my youngest 2 kids, either free or cheap cos after paying an extortionate amount for tourist attractions, I'm skint.
Found quite a few, so thought I'd share some on here, inc the fab Natural History Museum which is the main link. Will pop some clickable links to others in the first few posts. Please feel free to add any you know of, it would be really appreciated!

At least put a bit of effort in.
A**** for effort.
I had a great day out at Britain's Smallest Police Station. Spent hours there. Don't forget to do the guided tour, it's a bit long and expensive but well worth it imo.

Canary Wharf?
London Transport Museum is free for under 18's
http://www.ltmuseum.co.uk/visit/plan-your-visit/opening-times-and-tickets
however it's £17 for adults (£14.50 concessions), but you can save more if you can get enough people together for a group ticket.

I've not been, yet, so I can't comment on whether it's good or bad.

I've been several times but I go to London at weekends as well as in half terms so for me, this is good value for money. In the holidays they usually have free children's workshops. Weve been to animation workshops crafts etc. My 8yr old enjoys it there and there are loads of nice places to eat and street entertainment in the area.

You can ofcourse do BOGOF with Kellogs/Cadbury/NationalRail etc. and book online to save on the queue time a bit.
great thanks
€10 I paid admission to walk around the Guggenheim in Bilboa and yet we give away so much for free.

£68.99 per person is paid for culture in London compared to £4.58 per person for the rest of the country.

Hmmmmmm

It does make you wonder why people voted one way and others another.

This is just culture bear in mind. Maybe if certain areas of the country learnt to share they wouldn't be so surprised at recent results.

Just saying.
