Free Postcode Lottery - Win Cash Every Day for FREE! ** NO referrals pls **

I saw this on the MSE website.

Simply register your email address and postcode (over-18s only) online at Free Postcode Lottery, where a registered postcode is selected randomly at 12 noon each day for the £300 jackpot. You'll have to check online before noon the following day to claim it - the prize goes up by £300 each day it's unclaimed and the pot is split if multiple winners with the same postcode claim.

The biggest prize claimed since the site started is £1,250.14. You get a bonus of 1p every day you check the site, which is added to your winnings (if you're ever lucky enough).

How do I collect any winnings?

If you win the main draw (ie, your postcode comes up and you check the site that day), a large "collect" button will appear on screen. Simply press the button and your winnings can be paid into a PayPal account, or you can opt for an Amazon gift card instead.

You also have the option to "double & donate" your winnings to a charity.

What MoneySavers have to say:

Everyone at MSE Towers loves it, and there are lots of success stories in the Forum. Forumite sldellar said: "On my sixth check I won! And it was a rollover! Wonderfully timed as I recently lost my job", while raindaisy said: "I won £500 just after Christmas, and the money was in my account within two days".

Will I get spammed?

You automatically get opted in to receive a daily reminder, but you can unsubscribe at any time (click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of the email). And you can leave the lottery at any time via this unsubscribe link.

Links to other sites (surveys, competitions and charities) and user comments that appear on Free Postcode Lottery are all checked before they appear. Even so, it's always worth checking sites before entering any details and reading the full T&Cs for yourself.

How does it make money?

Free Postcode Lottery is funded by ads, which appear all over the site, along with links to other freebies and surveys. You don't have to click them, they make it money just by being there.

The site's owner, Chris Holbrook, has assured us that your email address will NEVER be passed on to any third parties and you won't ever be required to enter your card details.

Are there any other free lotteries I can play?

While Free Postcode Lottery's the biggest, there are other free lotteries you can play to win free cash - though remember not all sites promising 'free money' are legitimate.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... Its a secret ..... shhhhhhh
good reminder, the last post went viral so lets see what happens now.

FPL are gaining recognition via different platforms on media.
Chris the developer originator of this started of with £10 per day and no other tabs for extra chances to win. This was back in 2011 and now they have many extra chances from wining £300 down to £10 per day. Not won anything but as it is free and all you have to do is log on different times of the day to check, it costs nothing to you. Chris raises/earns from different means. This is aiming to grow fast.
One thing that has just been super successful is Chris started FPL'rs to buy services/products form local business and post the receipts and FPL manage to spend £17k in just one month. That rolled in one year is nearly £200k. Well done to CH who is thinking not just sharing money via FPL but also get us share our money with local business.
I won one of the two bonus draws a few months ago, I do not have paypal so sent an email asking for the money to be paid into my bank and it was in the same day! Your personal bonus builds up each day you check and for any special offers (most you have to pay something for but quite a few you don't, just have a look through them every once in a while) plus it doesn't wipe it out if you win, just keeps getting bigger! Very worthwhile joining and they do an app so you can still check each day even when you're away/on hols.

I check this site daily
Love love love FPL XXX
Love it & one day I'm going to win (in the meantime I just check, obsessively).
The bonus goes up 3p a day 1p for checking main draw 1p for checking survey draw and 1p for checking video draw.
stackpot refreshes twice a day 09.00 and 21.00 and the mini draw appears at the bottom of the page each night after 18.00

Am I the only one who has never heard of this until today?
It says it has 29% of the country's postcodes registered. So the odds of winning just 300 quid are pretty enormous. But still worth a shot if you can remember to check everyday. Which I'm likely not to.

Jordon Cox of money saving expert had written an article on 10 free lotteries that payout over £1,000 per day completely free
Love FPL. Been with it for a few years and never won a penny but it's been great to see it flourish. Love the recent addition of the video draw. Gives new artists exposure too. No spam, just a daily email which makes sure I never forget to check the draws.
I too have won, one of the bonus draws! Was paid into my Paypal next day! Chris is a legend!

I honestly didn't know the 1p increases on the other parts of the site. Lucky i check all of them!
If you click on some offers you can get a pretty health bonus. Does anybody know is there a minimum amount you have to reach to claim the bonus?
Been doing this for three years, checking all three draws every day and usually the extra 6pm evening one. Never won a penny from it. My bonus is £15 without having ever completed any of the offers! I smell a bit of a rat with it after all this time sadly
Been doing it for years, never won yet, but keep hoping!!
Forgot to say, my bonus is now over £20!!

Smell a bit of a rat? Like you should have won something by now?

In other words you don't get the math.
Not won anything yet after 2 years but my time WILL come
I look everyday, been member for over 3 years, not won anything as yet, but love trying everyday and my bonus is almost at £9, so just keep playing and checking its great fun!!! Remember it costs nothing, so odds are one day in future you may win..love FPL!!

When I started it was 1% of postcodes entered and the website was making a loss to pay out. I've done the maths and you'll find that I'm overdue a win by some way now.

Don't get me wrong, the idea is great. However it seems that most people 'cheat' by using multiple email addresses they have for one postcode to increase their chances. No rule against it but still hardly fair. Some postcodes I've seen win are 6+ winners but hardly any claim (probably because they've forgotten the other email addresses they entered with)!

There is a very clear rule against entering more than once. Checks are in place but they cannot be 100% watertight

oh for gawds sake

I can't believe anybody could be so ......
I'm a member of FPL and have not won yet, the odds are slim at over 400,000 to 1 but you have to be in it to win it!

The post that Jordon Cox of MSE deals team put together listed some other free lotteries that are on offer with better odds, I've signed up to all of them!! Find the list on there home page under MSE deals

Will continue to support FPL as he started out on £10 a day and has built it up over the years!
sorry if i'm being dumb, but how does this work? if your postcode gets picked, surely there are multiple winners as there are multiple households per postcode? does everyone who has registered with that postcode win the jackpot or is it shared?

There are 1.7 million postcodes in the UK, it would take 4658 years to cycle through every win for that aspect alone. Whether is sounds altruistic or not, it's still a lottery. It doesn't work unless the house beats the players.

In reply to above post about smelling a rat, I do not agree at all, it's just down to luck!

What I do smell a rat with is this post!! I strongly disbelieve that this post has been done by someone who found the post via yesterday's MSE email, I actually think this is a sponsored post that is being paid for by FPL!

Two of my friends have posted on here about three of the other three lotteries mentioned on the MSE email yesterday, as soon as they were posted they were removed by HOTUKDEALS as they do not allow referrals where other people benefit. My friends just put the website address of each lottery with no referral links.

So please tell me how this post remains but others are deleted straight away?

FPL have no need to pay for advertising they donate a lot of money to charity some thing I don't think has been mentioned in any posting. All the members join either through member referalls or search engines and forums like this.
Looks like Roger Bold has been banned. These 'friends' he talks about posting lotteries yesterday I would hazard a guess was himself and that's the reason. That's the only rat that smells in here.
Cheers
I check this site every day and on one of the rare days I didn't check last year, my postcode came up! It's a bit like doing the same numbers on the lottery every week, if you don't do it once and win, you'll be gutted! Totally worth being involved with though. It's free after all!
