I actually have the R1 Unrated Edition DVD of this movie.

Its set and filmed like a 70's flick.

It's one that you're either going to love or hate.

Personally i thought it was goodish but nothing special.

One thing i can say for sure - it's no Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs.

Cheers

Thanks for your review, I think it would be very difficult for any film to match the likes of Pulp Fiction or Reservoir Dogs, They're both great films. Hopefully i'll like it.

Rep given for your comments

Thanks, got tickets for glasgow

I don't understand why we have to pay twice to see an inferior version of Grindhouse here in the UK.

Code doesn't work

excellent thanks

rubbish film, starts off like it could be great, but it just wasnt:(

It's a fair movie, but not the best. It's had a lot of mixed reviews but I enjoyed it.

Steve

The DVD is already available to purchase or download of the net.

The second part of Grindhouse which has not been released yet "PLanet Terror" is the better of the two films.

thanks 2 for MK for me. voted hot

Thanks for all the reviews, good and bad.

Seems like this film could be better than it is. I'm not so worried about not being able to get tickets in my location now but i'll go it i find some lol.

I've given rep for as many comments as i can, will start reping again fro where i left off in 24 hrs when i should be able to start reping again.

I think this is the first time that i've hit top spot on the front page so thanks to everyone for your comments and rep

As per my previous post -

I dont think you can watch this movie and say you LOVED it and i dont think you can say you can HATED it.

You will either enjoy it or you won't.

With having had the benefit of already seeing this, i would definately not spend a fiver on a ticket to watch it.

Would i see it for free?

hmm tough one...

I probably would if the cinema was within walking distance.

Have this also, and as above it's a ok film, with some great bits... but never going to be a classic.. one time only thing..

Still worth it for free

I loved this film  . I thought I would not like it because of the style of the film but i was sooo wrong!

There are no tickets left for this preview screening.

luckily i have already seen it

I saw the double bill in canada and it is bloody good as a double bill, but this being the second film started to drag... but without spoiling it that's "the point" maybe?

I'll certainly go and see this extended version, or should i say complete version, as the version i saw had the intentional missing reel which happened to be a lapdance.

and yes, planet terror was much more fun.

non left for birmingham:-(
but thanks for posting anyway

Ny for manchester?!!

This movie is really funny, saw it a year ago. Kurt Russel is the main star

I liked this movie, its a strange mix of Tarantino extended dialogue and some very cool stunts. Not sure I could have watched this in its double bill with planet terror though, I'm glad I saw this extended version instead.

Would definitely recommend especially if you want to see something a little different to endless (craptactular) sequels.

is watching Death Proof and Planet Terror separately, exactly the same as watching Grindhouse?

One of the worst movies I have ever had the misfortune to watch. Absolute dross. I am a Tarantino fan and this just sucks. At least you lot are getting to see it for free.
