Children of Men envisages a world one generation from now that has fallen into anarchy on the heels of an infertility defect in the population. The worlds youngest citizen has just died at 18, and humankind is facing the likelihood of its own extinction.

Set against a backdrop of London torn apart by violence and warring nationalistic sects, Children of Men follows disillusioned bureaucrat Theo (Owen) as he becomes an unlikely champion of Earths survival. When the planets last remaining hope is threatened, this reluctant activist is forced to face his own demons and protect her from certain peril.

Directed and co-written by acclaimed filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Y tu mamá también), Children of Men also stars Julianne Moore as the leader of an underground opposition group and Michael Caine as Jasper.

Good Luck and enjoy the movie!

One more way to get tickets!!!

Method 4:

Select the city closest to you (nottingham, birmingham, manchester, edinburgh) and fill in your details to apply for a pair of tickets.

thanks angel, added rep

thanks angel

Don't bother with method 4 (24frames). All their tickets have gone.

Easiest thing to do is either print off your tickets from seefilmfirst(you can also get an sms ticket) or take a printout of the empireonline screening page to the cinema to collect a pair of tickets.

Failing that just keep your fingers crossed in the hope that you get lucky and score tickets with the bbc offer.

Do note that the screenings are for different dates so don't spoil it for others by unnecessarily filling out the application for tickets from the bbc offer if you will not be able to make it on that date or already have tickets from one of the other offers. Yep, I know its obvious but sometimes these things gotta be said

Enjoy the movie!;-)

yay!! I'm glad most people managed to get tickets!! Sorry, bazr . It seems unfair that they don't have these screenings right across the country. (maybe you need to move to London ;))

Fern - I agree with ya! Clive should have been 007! Having said that, whatshisname was pretty good in Layer Cake...oh well, just have to wait and see the new bond movie (hopefully we get free screenings for that ;);)) to make any real comments.

Nice one, got my txt/tickets for Star City straight away.
