I wish I was a member of the original Fan Club but they closed it just after I started reading Beano I think. I'm a member of the current Dennis and Gnasher Fan Club though

They're still in the Beano today if that's what you're asking? I think it was simply called the Beano Club (a name change from the Dennis The Menace Fan Club) back in 2010 when I started reading
Did anyone tried to print these before voting hot! Unless something's wrong with my laptop, these are useless.

Different target audience - Viz was an adult comic aimed at an adult audience (it even states not for sale to children on the front cover). Beano was aimed at children.

Was that a change for change sake? Or was it to avoid legal issues with the American "Dennis the Menance" comic?

Yes agreed. Beano is aimed at children though, as it still exists. Sorry I hate to correct people but a lot of people think the Beano was discontinued ages ago

Not sure. Dennis is still a Menace and they only removed "The Menace" because UK Beano including the new show is available in America now.

Ah, I guess that makes sense - the weird thing is both versions of Dennis the Menace debuted on the same month back in 1951! It's probably to avoid confusion...
