Online retailer of the year for me, I bought a tonne of things from them just the other day.

Granted they were all £5 gift cards that were going for 99p, and that's the only thing I bought from them all year. (edited)

It still surprises me they manage to operate given how expensive they are 95% of the time.

I used to order gift cards from them, but there’s no way that it costs £5 to post a gift card and paying an extra £5 kinda defeats the point of buying them anyway. Why can they not even just email the code from the gift cards like other gaming retailers do if they evidently want to discourage orders for home delivery??

Just vote with your wallet. I cant believe they are still in business - i thought lockdown would finish them off

i think its more of the older generation, that keeps them in business, Grandparents, mum and dad etc that don't know any better, or shop online (edited)

    Mike Ashley,is that you?

Every other company is cheaper than Game but somehow that is explained by Game being the ONLY company paying tax? Gotcha.

Yes. So Game and everywhere has an item that sells for £50. You think with £10 back it'll actually cost £40, except the delivery means it's £45 (assuming free delivery elsewhere). Just need to go in the expectation of saving £5 rather than £10 to avoid disappointment.

My local game has been relegated to a shelf in sports direct in my local. How the mighty have fallen. Stay competitive or shut up shop.
