FREE Rakuten HD Movie Rental + 3 Months of Tastecard+ (for 'new' customers) @ Tastecard

FREE£2.99TasteCard Deals

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Offer is from TOTUM but generic link. Sign up to Tastecard via the link in the OP and get 3 months Tastecard+ free plus a free Rakuten HD movie rental. Tastecard+ allows you to buy discounted Rakuten TV movies at home. Tastecard is also offering 50% off at some takeaways, so not as useless as you'd think since restaurants are closed.

After the 3 months trial it will auto renew, so I would recommend cancelling online using the following link before the period is up: tastecard.co.uk/m/mytastecard/cancel/
Codes will be sent within 7 days (TOTUM say Tuesday) and will expire after 30 days.

This is for new customers only but could always create another account Hope this helps since so many are stuck at home right now or maybe you are a key worker who wants to relax with a film after a long shift at work

This is not about that. You can essentially have a free movie rental at home this weekend.
Heat added 🔥

Any movie rental right? So could be used to watch Home Premieres? If so could be worth adding "Includes Home Premieres" to title.
Is it easy to cancel or do u have to phone up

Not sure, it's a HD rental though
How do you get the free film? I signed up but hasnt said anything about the movie?
Read the Tastecard terms carefully. Difficult to cancel and will just take the cash automatically then refuse to refund: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2016/02/tastecard-members-stung-by-40-fee-after-autorenewal—dont-be-caught-out/

I've had around three memberships with Tastecard and each time the canceling was easy.
T&Cs say they take the first payment (£3.99) immediately, so you can't get the movie rental code for free

It’s more that it’s designed to catch people out as the auto renewal isn’t made massively clear

You misread it, it is immediately after 3 months free trial. I signed up and was not charged.

That's from 2016. Tastecard now have online cancellation (link in OP). I've cancelled numerous times and it's really easy and quick.

It says in the terms and conditions that you will be charged if you don't cancel. If people don't cancel in time how is that the fault of Tastecard?

You literally are forced to tick a box before signing up saying you acknowledge the £3.99 monthly fee. That is definitely clear enough.
All I said was read the terms carefully. Some people don’t, was just making people slowed down before they claimed a freebie and forgot to cancel the taste membership.
Looking at the screenshot it is way more clear in the TOTUM app. I was referring to the tastecard website. Sorry

Search “tastecard renewal” on Twitter. Seems cancellation is still tricky. I was only telling people to be careful, what’s wrong with that?

Nothing wrong with saying to be cautious, but you said it was designed to catch people out. Those are two separate things.
@jamie15 - thanks for this deal! Heated!

P.S. how do you find where it mentions that you'll get the code on Tuesday? Can't seem to see anything other than that initial signup page

On the tastecard website, it’s more hidden - the way TOTUM display it is pretty clear to be fair.

It's not hidden on Tastecard site. You have to tick a box which clearly warns of the fee and auto-renew. If you do not tick the box you cannot proceed.

Fair enough.

That must be pretty new. When they did the X number of months for £1 offer a few months back, the only places it mentioned the auto renewal was some small text hidden within a banner image and a line in the terms. Glad they’ve improved it.

Don't know about that but I can say for certain that I found the process clear and the charge was made very clear to me.

This is what I get when I click "Get Deal" and try to sign up

Perhaps the charge will show up at your end in a couple of days, or maybe that small print isn't being carried out.

I don't see where a free 3 months can kick in if they take payment immediately and keep renewing each month, so it's nonsensical

Immediately after 3 month period has ended. I used a card with under £3.99 in it and still got trial. They will not charge or I would not have got accepted.

Thanks I must have missed that bit
Thanks! For me will be great even after the trial period ends! I rent around 3 movies a month and eat out/takeaway quite a bit! So the discounts will definitely be more than the membership fee

Fantastic For the food I'd recommend looking at Meerkat Movies which uses Tastecard but Rakuten codes are definitely worth it if you'll use them.

That's not my point, my point is the Tastecard is useless now since it's dine in only last time I checked and dine in isn't allowed
