Could I still get this even though I've joined virgin media recently?

Who's doing broadband and phone for only £1.75 a month?

You can get it for £2 when signing up to ee if on a payg or contract with them.

not too sure, give them a ring in the morning they are very helpful x

Like you'll get this as they get the cashback you would normally get for signing up through topcashback etc

TopCashBack are offering £131.25 cashback for TalkTalk broadband (the £1.75 option)

This site is probably just catching the cashback themselves and ordering you a refurbished computer.

Having to wait 90 days for the computer to arrive after the broadband is installed is a bit crappy.

sorry broadband is from as little as £1.75 a month, and line rental varies depending who you go with. x mine worked out as £17 a month so not sure why someone has put £21 in the title

Haha decent incentive I suppose. I wonder how much commission from the providers these guys are getting.

how do i get this deal im on a ee contract already

more than likely true, but some people will prefer the computer with Microsoft installed etc, don't forget the site where your getting it from is for trying to get more people online,

hot deal especially for those on eligible benefits.

Only 80GB hard drive?? Can't do much with that tbh

what

cold, not Apple

Wow. Know a few old folk who could do with this. Getting them to actually DO IT though. Hmm . . .

I got a free brand new laptop and a desktop pc about 8 years ago from a company called REDTEN. It was a 36 month contract for broadband but the company went bust after one year so got out of the contract and kept the PCs

Both the desktop and laptop computers have a free 6 months warranty. It will cost £25 per computer to get the 12 months warranty.

No doubt to make sure you don't cancel and they get the cashback first. Would be a good deal for some without the wait but as is, meh.

they in fact have a 12 month warranty

Simplifydigital provides the broadband comparison for Get Online @ Home and offers a range of broadband deals from top UK providers such as Sky, Virgin Media, Plusnet, EE and TalkTalk. Prices start from as little as £1.75 for the first 12 months (line rental required and 12 month contract for broadband required). Prices and broadband speeds are dependent on customer’s location and ongoing promotional offers from broadband suppliers. PCs and laptops have a 12 month warranty

the ones you are talking about are the computers and laptops you have to pay for x

lol that is funny

Great for beginners of all ages. Don't forget to factor in training. If this is your first pc with Internet you'll need to learn how to use it!

Moving house so will be using this.

Pass. Rather take the cashback and look for my own tablet deal. These refurbs will be old Dell`s etc that they would have had to dump in landfill here or dump in africa or china.

I feel like this may get abused by people that simply don't need it.

For real 80gb hard drive . Wake up it is the 21st century.

the main aim of the deal is to encourage those who aren't currently online to get online. 80gb is more than enough for basic web browsing using Microsoft works etc, not everyone needs massive hard drives x

glass half empty?

great for kids who need to do homework etc and get online for research, this all starts in primary schools these days! x

I'm guessing this is more aimed towards the over 65's rather than somebody in their early 20's or 30's who already have the latest tech such as iPhones and laptops.

it's aimed at getting those online that currently aren't, so yes maybe the over 65's also handy for those with children who need computers for schoolwork/college etc x

If you don't need the pc there's better deals on the cashbook site. I recently changed to EE, pay £2pm (Orange customer) or £6pm if not, on a 12 mth contract and received £136 cashbook quickly. EE also must supply line rental
