Because you listed it as 'free'. If it isn't free can you confirm how much it costs including postage costs? Thanks

Hi but yet Amazon prime day is listed that has no price. This is a deal for anyone with a filter and being stuck in freebies it won't be seen by most. It's not like it's a free bar of chocolate to me it's a deal to anyone that buys or has bought a Brita jug
Thank you so much saves me going to buy a new one as my meter stop working and the flap snap.
No lid but ordered a jug replacement as it becomes sticky and it did not ask me for payment so it should be free. Thanks Ops.
could I order a free jug, Meter, lid, filter etc??

I've tried it lol can't find filters though
Fantastic find, thanks op.
Just ordered 1 of each but just had a thought that it might be for in warranty filters because they ask for the serial number. My 1 is around 4yrs old so if I don't get anything that might why.
I'll send this to my mate!
Great find! Thanks.
Just a reminder as the Britacare team posted this in kinell's fab thread from 14mths ago
Thanks for the post about our Free Replacement Parts and telling everyone about our wonderful Customer Service Kinnell! Whilst BRITA are happy to send replacement parts we will request the whole system back for inspection, before anything is sent out, if more than 1 part is requested to ensure there isn't a manufacturing fault :-) Why don't you sign up for newsletters while you are on our website too so you can be the 1st to hear of any offers or deals! Maybe just maybe in the year and more since the last one was posted they have changed their policy. But please don't edit my deal until that is confirmed or denied. Just think that's out of order.
Thanks for the reminder. One of the plastic bits of the meter that attaches it to the lid snapped off last time i changed the filter. I knew you could get replacement parts because this was like my fourth meter (electrical components don't seem to last long near water - who knew? ) but I hadn't gotten around to ordering a new one yet

Brita replacement parts are definitely free, including free postage. I've been getting replacement meters from them for years, and they also replaced the lid for free.

Yes, again thanks for that post- I soon received a couple of bits for my Brita jugs, although I wasn't sure the request had gone through at the time as they never really acknowledged or confirmed sending. For me, it's the meter batteries running out or breaking the lugs on the beak when cleaning that are the only problems.
I know they have a vested interest in you continuing to use the cartridges, but I have never come across a company that makes it so easy to replace bits (most commonly my cartridge life indicator) well done Brita!! P.S. the filter kettle is brilliant in my disgustingly hard water area! Heat OP and OOP (kinell)!!
Thanks so much for this. Wish I'd known years ago. The reason I buy new jugs is because the lids always get full of scale or the flap breaks. Would have saved me buying new ones. Just ordered a new lid as ours now has a lot of scale on it.

Unfortunately they don't support the classic, which is what I have. The spout cover has broken off recently so hoped this would sort it but no luck.

Yeah they only do for models that they still sell. But I believe there is a number u can calland they might still have one or two they can send.
Thanks for the post! Only just replaced the battery on mine. Not that the meter does anything smart, its just a countdown timer.
Wish I had of known this a few weeks ago....our old Britta snapped in two...handle broke off and casing cracked revealing sharp edge as it dropped luckily into our sink....I just went out and bought a new one.
damm
Have some heat!
Thank you OP
Great find op! Thanks ordered a few bits !
did you receive email conformation after requesting replacement or ...?

I received email a few days after to say it was dispatched this was direct from customer service.
Thanks OP
Razorblades business model- they make their profits via overpriced filters, so are prepared to give the other parts away free.
Just ordered a whole new jug....as four seperate parts. Will see if it arrives!
my Brita jug has lasted me for years. I've replaced the lid , the internal filter holder & the main jug part. It's been a real long laster - it's just kept going.

For a moment there I thought there was a free filter offer but aww nope

On another note, BRITA cartridges filter roughly 10% of the impurities out of the water. I've been a little unimpressed with our jug's ability (or lack of) to improve the taste of water. Still taste that chlorine. There's some on the market that filter MUCH more - but for whatever reason, BRITA remains the biggest brand on the market. Then again, water does contain some much needed metals/minerals.
My fill and go is currently sitting in the recycling bin because the lid broke I wish I I'd known about this sooner!
Great find heat added thanks
Where do you enter the serial number so that you can get replacement parts. When I ordered the items it never asked me for the serial number but the order never showed up on the "my orders" list.
Thanks for posting this again. BRITA are more than happy to replace parts to get your jugs up and running again but we won't send complete systems or parts to make up whole systems, that's just being cheeky ;-) Sandra BRITACare
