Free roaming for Talk Mobile customers in 41 european destinations

Just had a text from Talk mobile and they have finally caught up with other providers on roaming and using your allowance in other European countries.

not in freebies because purchase is required.

If like me, you have a 3 sim card for when you go abroad and you have to top up, then this obviously means it's an advantage. if you aren't already a talk mobile customer, perhaps this now makes them competitive for you to choose as a provider.

i find the coverage good for my locale and use, please check the website for coverage and contract options.

I'm on the 15gb for £15 month contract. :-)

check the link for roaming countries involved.

It's a bit sad that phone companies seem to be pretending that they are behaving in some sort of benevolent manner to customers, when in fact the European commission has banned roaming charges in the EU. The deadline is coming up, so these companies left it late as they could. They aren't doing you a favour.

holy cow why is this cold? oh my days i give up with this site

Maybe because this isn't a deal - this is just what they have to do under the new EU rules coming into force in a few days. They're not "catching up with other providers" - just leaving what they have to do until the last minute before it becomes compulsory.

yes could look at it that way but a few years ago with o2 this was all in the package then they got greedy and started charging so personally I think we are being ripped off (entirely my view)

It's because it's not really a deal. New European laws say that roaming charges are unlawful so all Phone companies HAVE to give free roaming as standard.

So your cellular provider isn't being kind or doing you a favour. They have no choice

That is why it's cold.

find food cheaper of 30p and your deal will be HOT

And talkmobile is being absorbed by vodafone! But you have a choice to take pac so will only be one main mvno of voda soon!

Are they including the channel islands do you know? Technically not in the eu so some providers leaving them out

People need to understand that there are certain circumstances where they may still be charged for roaming even with the new rules. This applies if you use it too much abroad and also possibly if you have cheap data, it's a bit of an unknown at the moment.
