Is rocket league free now? On play station

From tomorrow.
Do we need to link accounts or how else does it know? Just simply have our PSN linked to the Epic Fortnite and play Rocket League?
Wonder if Fortnite has dipped in player base

Lol.

Epic recently bought Rocket League maker Psyonix

It's lost any iOS-only players for starters but it's still massively popular either way.
This is not a 'deal' imo.. events like this happens quite often and the whole player base knows about them. If this was a freebie (like just log in the in game and get yours) I'd agree with it, but this is pretty much like telling people to play the game to get rewards/drops

This was helpful to me.

I haven't played Rocket League or Fortnite for a couple of months but I might login to collect this.

Just because something isn't helpful to yourself, doesn't mean that it isn't to others.

When you load up rocket league it'll ask you link your game to an epic account. I recommend loading up rocket league and sorting it out from there first. Not sure if it defaults to your psn epic link
4pm is when it's free.

That's why I said 'imo'. And you're really not 'collecting' them, you are literally playing the game to get the items. But I'm glad this was helpful to you as a mean of communication, I can see the value in that.

To be fair, and I totally appreciate your point

It's a time limited opportunity and the player base for Rocket League is going to massively boost (I think there may be a pun in there somewhere) today. These 'drops', if you like, are available from the 27th until October 12th. I personally don't see this as any different in sharing a demo of game or a free weekend. It's information for those that aren't aware - even though most of us would be, it'd be pretty arrogant to assume everybody should.

I just assumed in game events would go into discussions and was interested that they could be posted. Although I still think mods may move a lot of them into discussions. For example Fall Guys Season Two will technically have free items if you reach each level of its battle/season pass and is time limited. The first few levels of CODs Battle Pass is free each season and time limited. I don’t think those would survive in deals long though. Like I say though I was just interested that these are allowed and didn’t know, no complaints

Fair enough.. wouldn't put in-game events or a demo at the same level as free weekend though, was just putting my opinion out there (and here I am doing it again!)
Let's just hope the newcomers make up for the old smurfs

I noticed a grey faded box mentioning a voucher on the Rocket League product page and, once I'd completed the free purchase, another page popped up confirming a voucher. I haven't received an email about it yet so I assume that it's stored in your Epic account somewhere.

Can this obtained on Xbox?
I've got this on Steam and now Epic.
Do u think these achievements can be done on Steam platform now I've "bought" it on Epic?
Can anybody actually play online at the moment?

Playing on Switch and it keeps telling me to try again in a minute.
The £10 voucher reads to me like the value needs to be £14.99+ AFTER the voucher is applied, has anyone managed to buy a game with a total of less than £15?
If you are playing on PlayStation and have PS Plus you can pick up the Rocket League PS Plus pack

store.playstation.com/en-…000
I’m confused. What’s the deal exactly??? That you play the game... and the game gives you rewards when you complete the in-game challenges??? The game has ALWAYS done this! It’s hardly a bargain or a deal!
