So hyperoptic just changed 2 of their packages from 20Mb to 30Mb and 100Mb to 150Mb. I was on 100Mb and called customer service and they happily upgraded to 150Mb free of charge.

They also have new routers now which supports 5Ghz AC which they posted to me, again at no cost. They send a return label for you to return the older one.

Very happy with them.

Every time I see a hyperoptic deal, I die a little inside. The magic telecom fairies have determined that my house can have only FTTC and if I want the fabled FTTPoD then lets see what the quote I got was ....

£3,150 for installation and £750 connection.
There is also a cost of £800 for the managed Juniper Switch. (no they wouldn't let me use my own....)
Finally as discussed, the monthly price for FTTPod is £320.00

Have some heat, even though I'm totally jelly....

thanks bro, just upgraded..you have to renew contract for another 12 months but turned out cheaper for me
Was on £25 a month for 20Mbps, now it's £20 a month 30Mbps
Wonder if they will do the same with 150mb users and put them on the 1GB tier for free as well!

Can you do this via the website somehow?
Love this ISP. Doesn't cave into to blocking websites to please the billionaires, in a true London style.

To be fair... they were never ordered to by the courts. Neither was Vodafone that's why thepiratebay.org works perfectly on vodafone broadband and other smaller ISPs. They only went after the major ISPs like Sky/BT/Virgin etc.
Great...

now getting 30MB BB, phone unlimited UK calls for £20 a month,

Sounds like a normal price for FTTP leased line to be fair. Does any other company offer it much cheaper?
