I’m pretty certain it’s quite a bit American company. People get good commission selling these though. So I’m guessing this is why it’s been posted

So it's one of those pyramid schemes?

This is an independant distributor of party lite candles from what i can make out. Partylite candles are amazing IMO much better than Yankee......... i attend a couple of parties a year, Works the same as the Anne Summers party / distributor model where an individual will pay for a 'starter' pack and then earn a percentage based on products they sell via their own website / parties etc. I haven't taken up this offer just because I would rather not give details to a distributor i don't know and then be asked to hold parties etc.

So it IS a pyramid scheme...
Candle party you say? Such a shame, I have plans that evening.
No different to Avon / kleeneze / Tupperware / forever living etc, but there are those cynics insisting they are all pyramid schemes which I can understand to an extent, only those in at the beginning will make the really big bucks. In actual fact though they can be a life saver to those stay at home mums / dads who want to get out more or families in need of a bit of extra income
I posted a deal for a painter who sells paintings, cards, aprons, cushions, etc who had their own website (with address, telephone number, business email) and who we saw and purchased from during a visit to a National Trust property. They had a sale on but HUKD said it would not allow the post as they could not confirm the validity of the business, ability to supply goods, etc. Here we have someone with their own website that does not even show their address or telephone number, just a gmail email address and HUKD allows it to be posted. I sometimes wonder .....
