Quite a lovely freebie compilation of upbeat dance / big beat tunes from a homegrown UK label. Plenty more albums available. Skeewiff is a personal favourite on this label.

I'm not going to post my own deal for this (its essentially free stream it's not like it's unusual these days for anything other than it's quality and open pedigree) but if you happen to come across such, enjoy

Ahh good old Ninja Tune... gotta love em. Their direction seems to have changed a lot since I was a Ninja Tune vinyl junkie back in the 90s (aside from the mainstays such as DJ Food, Coldcut (those two obvs.), Scruff, Bonobo etc), but not listened to Solid Steel for a few years, so thanks for the reminder.

yeah basically same dude though I did pick up X and I believe XX back in the day. They were pretty good given context. Yes indeed Ninja Solid Steel moves onwards and somewhat sideways. In a good way. Maybe the best.

Good context gag. EDIT: just googled it to see these were compilations!

Nice spot. The Ghetto Funk label is worth checking out too, lots of free releases (last time I checked their "Sound of Ghetto Funk" compilation was the only one that costs) from a lot of the same guys that release on Scour. The Icons compilation is as good a place to start as any.
