A fictional interpretation of Eric Schlossers international 2001 bestseller of the same name, Fast Food Nation is a sharp satirical look at Americas fast food industry. Directed by Academy Award®-nominated director Richard Linklater and boasting an all-star ensemble cast including Patricia Arquette, Ethan Hawke, Greg Kinnear, Kris Kristofferson, Avril Lavigne and Catalina Sandino Moreno, the film follows a variety of stories that illustrate the complexity of a consumer culture in freefall.

In turn shocking, funny, terrifying and deeply poignant, Fast Food Nation is an unmissable portrait of our times. Don Henderson (Greg Kinnear) is a marketing executive at Mickeys Fast Food Restaurant chain, home of The Big One. When he discovers that contaminated meat is getting into the frozen patties of the companys best- selling burger he takes a journey to the dark heart of the All-American meal. He crosses paths with immigrants working the slaughterhouses that supply Mickeys, desperate for a new start in a new land, the idealistic and nihilistic youth of Middle America that staffs the outlets, and a host of other characters that are in some way involved in an industry that has an ever-increasing global impact.

N.B. Each ticket admits two people.

Only in the West End but good if you live not too far... Voted hot

Cool, thanks.
Excallent book and this showing is just around the corner. Thanks.

Great thanks! Signed up for my tickets but just realised it is the same night as Milan v United 2nd leg so I cant go! Anyone want the ticket instead? (It admits 2). Will post free of charge if you PM me your address.

It has my name on it but I have never been checked when going to these free screenings. The cinema is normally only half full anyway!

I've seen this, it's very different, worth a watch although more of a tv movie type film.
