Free Sky Backstage Pass and Bar Access at London O2 (Sky Customers Only)

I can't see that this has been posted anywhere before.

I have used the Sky Backstage Pass and found it to be a more relaxed pre-event experience than scrambling around the O2 trying to find somewhere to eat or drink. Plus you get to at least hear the Support Act as the bar is situated directly behind the stage.

"Bought your ticket to an arena event at The O2, London? At the award winning Sky Backstage, the red carpet has been laid for you. Just book your pass and walk right in.

Sky Backstage is open before each arena event. Simply follow the steps below to select the date you'll be visiting, and the number of Sky Backstage passes that you require.

Each Sky customer can share the enjoyment by inviting friends and family.

Once you've completed the form, just print off your Sky Backstage pass and bring it with you to The O2 on the day of the event (along with a form of ID and valid arena ticket) to exchange for Sky Backstage wristbands. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Remember: Your Sky Backstage pass is valid only when used in conjunction with an arena event ticket at The O2, London. Entry is on a first come first served basis. Please see terms and conditions for more information."

Yeah I went there recently, it was ok, not as busy as the rest of the place which was nice! Drinks as expensive as you would expect but worth a visit for free!

When I got there they asked if I had reserved online which I said I hadnt and they did the whole "ok we shouldn't let you in but go on". It was quiet though so I don't know if when it's busy you have to register.

Generally you have to register and get the printed barcode to get the wristbands.
I guess it all depends on who is playing.
I just booked my passes for Noel Gallagher on Sun 26th Feb as I'm sure it'll be busy then.

Yeah this is standard Sky customer perks. And you do need to book on-line, it's kind of an obvious thing.
Did even know this existed and am off with the gf tomorrow to see Snow Patrol at the O2

Thanks OP, have some heat.
I agree, it is definately worth a visit, you even get a photograph taken which you can download for free. And when i was there last, you even got a free massage, and make up for the ladies
