Thanks, bought some batteries and Sky+ to be installed on Wednesday!

i went to get this and they said i have to buy a tv over £169

Went into Comet Milton Keynes and asked for the buy anything offer. The manager took me away from the tills and told me he wasn't aware of this deal and it wasn't anything to do with Comet and to call Sky. He was very stroppy.

After waiting on hold for 30 minutes to Sky I was told it was a valid offer and I needed a till receipt otherwise they could not let me have the half price deal.

It seems it depends how clued up the staff are.

I went to the Comet in Nortwich. One pack of batteries and HD is being installed on Tuesday. Free installations as it's multirrom.

Can someone tell me as I'm a little behind with the whole sky+ thing, if we have sky and we want to get sky plus, do we just need to buy the box or do we need to subscribe to a new package and pay extra to have sky plus?

I ordered this in the Stirling store on Friday.

Told the guy about the "on any purchase" thing (they had a poster outside anyway) thing and said I would buy some batteries.

He went off to check as he "was not to sure on the latest deal". Back a moment later and no problem. Getting it installed (well delivered) on Thursday. In the end I bought a new kettle as the wife was with me and "pounced on the opportunity".
