For those of us already paying through the nose for sky tv, here’s a deal that might soften the blow. Free for 30 days, cancel anytime. Goes to £5 per month after 30 day trial. Will then go up to £19 extra after 6 months so make sure to cancel

It says cancellation notice is 31 days. Should we order and then cancel on the same day so as not to incur fees?
If you have a special discount or bespoke package these trials used to cancel them too so I never took anything like this up. I do have Sky movies via IPTV but it’s rubbish anyway to be honest.

That’s a good point. Was just about to accept the offer on my email and then I read your comment.
says cancel at any time so presume you dont need to speak to sky to cancel - can just remove the pack online?
Reading the terms and conditions I’m guessing the 31 days notice is if you don’t cancel before the end of the free trial and end up up starting a rolling contract

Get them to add the offer and keep them on the phone and check that you can view one of the film channels and then whilst still on the phone give them your notice. Also beware that taking this offer can override any other offers you have before this offer is applied. I got 50% off one year, took the free movie offer and give notice, only to find out the 50% offer had been removed. Seemingly cant have 2 offers running concurrently
Isn’t Sky Cinema having the same movies shown on Now TV?

Your serious, I have 75% off on a monthly rolling deal, should I take the punt. The risk is 50/50, confused

If I was getting 75% I'd stay well clear. That's not worth it

I know plus there isn't any Bollywood movies
I've just had an email offering me the free trial then 6 months @ £5, cancel anytime. Happy days.
Soooo is this invite only? Not seeing this offer in my account anywhere?
I have had the e mail. Great offer if no strings attached. Currently paying £6 per month for sky cinema on now tv so this is even better. Just need to check my offers are not affected.
Not sure if anyone else got this but I did and managed to get 2 months free when the offer went through 😁

Been told it doesn't go live till tomorrow!!??!!

Also been told £8pm. That isn't as appealing.
I am on notice so does not apply!
Just applied this deal. At first the link in the e-mail didn't work, I spoke to Sky CS and they said keep trying its due to high demand. To be fair it did work 10 mins later. Have noticed future bills have it listed at 7.38 though so will need to keep an eye on it to make sure that does go the advertised £5.00 per month.

'For those already paying through the nose for Sky TV' ... omg op, STOP PAYING FOR IT ALREADY THEN!! Happy to be free of Sky myself as of just recently. Good riddance to rip-off unneccessity
Thanks op, worked for me. Email came through as "2 months Sky Cinema Subscription Discounted £0.00"

Just spent the afternoon getting my BT bill down from £103 to £45, got Sky Mobile 12GB for £6 offer and now this so I can catch up on some movies over the next 30 days.

I have just done this through the email sent and rang sky just to make sure it doesn't affect other offers I have and they confirmed 2 months free and then 6months at £5, cancel anytime. I asked about bills and they have said it will automatically change when free offer up. Just to be sure I asked them to put the offer in my notes for when I may have to ring again!!
My email says 30 day free trial and then £5 a month
I added the offer but when i checked future bills it shows full price from August. Currently only chat with sky for >1 hour trying to sort it out.

Possibly you may lose the 75% off offer as you cant have 2 offers at the same time! I would stay well clear!

A mix of good news and bad - you do at least seem to have kept your deal on your legacy bundle, but worrying about the estimate for next month. Let us know if you get it resolved. Sky are pretty good if you speak to the right person.

This sounds like playing with fire lol I'm already on discounted package on the rest, don't want to mess that up
Don't waste your time watching Venom, awful film.

You spoke wisely there. I get one bill down and another goes up. You can't win I tell ya, you just can't win!!
For anyone who is being billed it's two months free. As the offer doesn't apply to you. The partial charge is in-line with the billing period you are on.
I did it through the link on this and future bills seem fine. Noticed the channels haven’t actually activated yet though :/

Im pleased your happy, what are you doing on this thread then if you left? We are all big enough to make our own mind up, thanks.

The link on the thread actually contains the phrase "out of contract" in amongst the code so assume that if in contract that's when you're getting two months and then charged.

Then why would I be mailed the offer when I'm in contract ?
