Sky unlimited fibre free for 12months (12months contract) free activation/installation.

New customers only, you will need to go on new customers chat and ask for Fibre deals. Tell them virgin or talk talk is cheaper and they will offer you this deal.

I have just signed up, went on chat 3 times to double check and been offered this deal 3 times.

First post guys, please no rude/harsh comments.

No need to get the deal through chat everyone!!!
just click get deal link and enter 5KYMOVE, the deal is still available there [Credit to neversay (comment #95)]

thanks OP. Virgin have been sneaking up their prices. today's bill was the last straw

I just did the same thing and posted the deal after you (didn't see it was already posted so expired my one).

Same deal, 12 month contract, no activation fee and they also offered 50% off TV packages but I didn't go for TV.

Sky is completely unlimited

Up to 38meg

I have this and it is truly unlimited with no throttling at any time in my experience.

Good deal heat added . Shame I tied myself into a 2 year deal with SSE but was good deal at the time

Is Sky fibre any good? Their old broadband service was awful.

we still only have virgin monopoly in Belfast for fiber
but great price for FO I'm paying £29 and no phone line

Decent deal, though to me being forced to pay for line rental is a waste, as it isn't needed with fibre optic broadband. No need for a landline phone for 99% of people anymore. Businesses a different story.

do sky offer 76mb fibre?

My current deal with plusnet expires in 14/04, can I pre order this now? Or is this a question for sky?

Really hope the offer remains valid until then.

No fibre where I am (Telewest ran out of money around the time my house was built - 2 streets away has fibre access), otherwise i'd be all over this.

this was free up to yesterday......so £17.50 all in including broadband. Good price though

You don't need need fibre to your house for this product. It's FTTC based, the fibre part is to the green BT box in or around your street. The last few hundred metres is copper. If the green box has been connected by Openreach then there's a good chance any standard BT lime will get FTTC. FTTP (fibre to your door) is a long way off being commercially viable from Openreach.

Pretty sure that EU law now states that for consumer broadband it is a maximum of 12 months service contract (not phone, just BB) - could be wrong if there are specific "terms" but came across it recently.

Might help

Sky uses BT's infrastructure. It's fibre optic up to the green box in the street and then copper wire to your house. So the speed you get depends on the distance from the green box to your house. Their signal is usually very stable as they connect a maximum of 20 houses per terminal whereas talk talk for example connect way more. I'm currently tied into SSE for 2yrs for about £20 pm or I would have switched to this. Good deal. Heated.

you can order this and probably will be switched over to sky around that time anyway as it takes week or 2 to switch over. order it

I was just chatting with Wilber from sky live chat. Said I def cannot get sky fibre in my area. I just checked Uswitch and apparently you can!! ?? Im lost.

does this mean u get just broadband or can you use landline ??

Can you get this if you currently have a Sky TV subscription or do you have to be a completely new customer?

do sky offer 76mb fibre?

Yes but it's £30pm

Current sky broadband contract at an end . Will ring tomorrow to see what I can get from them.

Great price but Im not a fan of the sky hub. Cheap price compensates the price to buy a new router though.

Just spoke to them same deal but he wouldn't wave the activation fee £25

Close the chat and try again with someone else.
