Really hope the offer remains valid until then.
You don't need need fibre to your house for this product. It's FTTC based, the fibre part is to the green BT box in or around your street. The last few hundred metres is copper. If the green box has been connected by Openreach then there's a good chance any standard BT lime will get FTTC. FTTP (fibre to your door) is a long way off being commercially viable from Openreach.
Pretty sure that EU law now states that for consumer broadband it is a maximum of 12 months service contract (not phone, just BB) - could be wrong if there are specific "terms" but came across it recently.
