Free Sky Store credit worth £13.99 for British Gas Homecare customers

23
Found 26th Oct
For existing Homecare customers.

I created a British Gas account online for my Homecare. On the account was a link for Rewards. I normally ignore these, but one of the rewards was free Sky Store credit of £13.99. I used mine for a digital download of a film and a copy of the bluray will also be sent to me. All the latest films are there.
Must be claimed by 31st October

@wagtassi Thanks for the reminder

You sure a blu ray gets sent to you? Thought it was a standard dvd.

I thought so too, but it gave the option of digital download only, download and dvd, or download and Blu-ray

I thought I might as well get it for the kids for the car, but changed my mind when the options popped up. Something for me, instead...

Thanks for the reminder. I knew about this but forgot about it

How long does it take to show rewards. I've signed up but nothing is showing when clicking rewards?

It was on the first page for me. I clicked on rewards, scrolled through and the sky store offer was there.

Great deal, just ordered.

Got it! V happy they have started offering blu ray now as well! Ok it’s a higher price but worth it in my opinion.

I didn't get this but I did get free kitchen appliance cover for the year and 6 loyalty days credit every 6 months for a year :-) thanks

Better than a kick in the pants!

Better than a smack in the face with a bag o' spanners! Thanks OP - I'd completely forgotten about this. Have a bit o' heat!

I just went and got mine thanks very much

Didn't know about this, free movie and paid £3.00 for BluRay copy, many thanks OP!

I didn’t know though either . Many thanks

OK, this is an old offer, which has been up a few times. However its a reminder for those who didn't see the original, or forgot to claim. I claimed mine a while ago, but checking the rewards, they are offering 12 days free electricity a year. Which I registered with.

The deal also showed me that for some, not all releases have a blu-ray choice. They have finally listened to the customer at Sky. However the prices have also increased. I looked at The Mummy, its £14.99 on Amazon, but £16.99 on Sky. So not the best way to get the blu-ray.

But if the Voucher is £13.99, then you get The Mummy Blu-Ray for £3 instead of shelling out £14.99 on Amazon.

I claimed this in the summer but seems to have given me a new code for another movie! Win!

I gave the offer heat, I didn't slate it. I used the voucher a couple of months ago, when it was launched.

However the price for the Mummy with Blu-ray, from Sky is still £16.99. So your still paying Sky £16.99 for the Blu-ray, which is £2 more than elsewhere.

The Voucher gets the heat, not Sky's prices.
