Free Sky TV Family Bundle HD and (/or) half price Sky Sports for 12 months plus free Sky Broadband when taking landline - for Asda colleagues

Amazing deal. Until the end of the month – exclusive to Asda colleagues - Sky are offering free Family Pack (all standard entertainment channels in HD), free broadband and half price Sky Sports for 12 months. Only stipulation is you must take their line rental which costs £15.40pm.

The free Family Pack offer is for new Asda staff sign ups only. Half price Sky Sports is available to all Asda staff. Free brandband is available to all Sky customers residing in serviced areas.

It’s been widely reported however that Sky are currently offering, as a retention deal, free Family Pack for customers with existing Sky phone and broadband and an alternative deal of 60% off any package and £100 bill credit for the remaining customers without Sky landlines. If you’re an existing Sky customer whose out of contract and working for Asda then you could potentially use this as leverage to get a better deal.

as far as I am aware you wouldn't be able to have free family pack and then half price sports. I would get confirmation when ordering

The deal states:

"Join Sky with 12 months free Sky TV and Sky Broadband Unlimited* (new customers only, includes Sky's Family Bundle.

Plus you can add Sky Sports half price for 12 months (just £12.25 extra per month)"

The fact they say you can "add" half price Sky Sports to your already existing 'free Sky TV' implies you would get both deals simultaneously.

EDIT. The t&c's are pretty conclusive too stating: "New and existing customer 12 months half price Sky Sports: Available to new Sky TV customers joining with the new customer offer and existing Sky TV customers upgrading to the Sky Sports pack.

Another deal for new customers only
What about the loyal long standing ones
Im fed up having to haggle a deal every year
Due another haggle in november

not doubting you at all, just a heads up as i took the free family pack offer that CPW had a few weeks ago. I called up and asked if there were any deals on Sports and got told I could have it for 6 months half price, they added the sports at half price and forgot to inform me that my family pack was now full price as you cant have 2 offers on like that at any one time. Oh the fun I had to get it sorted

This looks exactly the same as the Friends and Family offer I just signed up to. Free family bundle, half price sports (can add movies for another £8 or so), free broadband (must take line rental). I added HD and multi room as well and came in ~£50 a month for the whole package.

Looks they are just offering the friends and family deal to asda staff, so seems legit.

I wouldn't take their broadband even if they paid me too

Why not? Been ok by me touch wood

I would be grateful if someone could send me a copy of the deal by email so I can go back to Sky with it as I got told point blank that i couldn't have two offers at the same time. (Pm me your email address)

We swapped over to sky last week and the speed has been shocking. It's more often slow or off than at the speed they said it would be. Thinking we might go elsewhere

Just haggled myself and managed to get the full package + sports + movies + sky hd premium(didn't know they charged on top to watch sports & movies in hd !) + multiroom + broadband + line rental for £53.86 pm for 12 months, took about 25 minutes on the phone but I'm paying less now than before and have sports and movies

Well played, sounds exactly the same as my deal (after the price increases this month...), def can't complain at that price!

My sky deal is coming to an end as a former o2 customer. Is anyone getting any better deals? They are offering me £60.00 for sky family bundle only, Sky-talk Anytime and broadband.
