Strange, hardware looks about the same, infact X10 on paper is a bit better.
The problem with the X10 is SE, no android 2.2

It is 2.1 already though, good enough in most occasions. It is said 2.2 and pinch-zooming are on the way.

2.2 can be had.... android.modaco.com/con…10/

there will be no official 2.2, nor a proper 2.2 since the bootloader on the X10 has not been cracked. The only beta 2.2 'overlays' still are not finished and have things that still do not work.

The last update (official) will be second version of 2.1 that 'may' have multi-touch enabled, depends how SE feel, since they keep changing their mind/delaying on lots of things.
Don't hold out for too much update support, SE like to protect newer models that will look different on the outside, but very similar inside.
If it looks like any update will steal the thunder from a newer model, they will drop the update.

Lets hope the bootloader is cracked eventually, although its taking an age so far. Just hope the dev's don't give up and move on.

Yeah I like my X10, i don;t like SE
