What's it usually worth? Probably bugger all but given all the hype around the SpaceX at the moment, it may be worthwhile to have a go ourselves at being an astronaut.

I wondered why he kept rubbing his head, thought something had happened but i just looked away from the screen at that time lol!

Poor Doug...
All that prep and training, banged your head...

I noticed it cos his head partially disappears as he enters & I think the hug caught him off guard.

But I assumed up in space you just bounce of walls & feel no Pain. Clearly not
Hopefully it's better than their stream, signal lost here, signal lost there, here a lost, there a lost, yeah of course they should lose signal at certain places, but at the landing zone come on.

I thought this was due to the comms linking between different satellites as they pass by them, and switched between them. I agree though could have been more fluid, would love to have seen the landing of the main body back on the drone ship, typically lost signal as it happened... only angle was from a further away helicopter I think I seen.

helicopter!
We all love a bit of "Space Docking" (urban dictionary that term)

helicopter!

He's talking about when the rocket section returned to earth to land on the ship, not the space docking bit
On what planet is a link to a website a deal?
Manned space flight, yeah right. were not going anywhere fast. Stick to dreaming and go play with your Millennium Falcon.
Hopefully it doesn't start 19 hours out to reach the ISS once in orbit. Could they not just have sent Dragon up 17 hours later to shorten the flight time, no way could I survive 19 hours without a trolley service.

They always lose signal when the first stage returns and you can always find the recording on twitter later.

I see what you did there.
It turns out that playing Elite on the Commodore 64 IS a transferrable skill!

Space Docking and Space Docked are both different apparenty. Both awful though

Power from them rocket engines are insane, Will literally shake the drone ship as its landing which causes the ships antenna to misalign with the satellite. They technically can fix it by having another boat there but what’s the point is wasting millions for 2 seconds of footage which you can find I left later anyway.
I suspect it's much easier than the real thing. Sort out your attitude & position, then thrust it home; ...easy as point and squirt.

Archiving reasons, not to look like some dumb sports commentary, not look like some 5 to 35 year old trying misdirection magic it's landing *signal break black screen* it's landed and yet people gave the moon landing so much crap. It all seemed a bit cheaply done like when it was breaking into orbit I saw something fall of the rocket.
