I was wondering that myself haha

i dont have facebook but i googled and there are people in sashes instore giving them. x

Might hang it off my John Thomas!

Heat added. Have to say I am surprised to see that no one has mentioned that mistletoe is poisonous, waiting on the headline "Morrisons poisons Christmas shoppers"

You kiss under it you don't eat it.

You kiss under it you don't eat it.

Yeah and young children are supposed to play with the small toys not eat them, yet the toys come with choking hazard warnings. My favourite warning is the "Keep away from children" you get on washing capsules, better advice has never been given

Mmmm, free mistletoe, free kisses at Morrison's. Can't wait to get back to work tomorrow at atlas mills, Bolton. Perks of the job !!? lol xxx

Oh great. I allways mean to get some and then end up to skint so ta very much xxx

It must be Kissmass

I wonder if you could use it for cuttings?

It's real, so if it's in good condition, I don't see why not

"Mistletoe can be deadly if you eat it."

"But a kiss can be even deadlier... if you mean it."

my late and amazing Uncle Les and Aunty Minnie always had a sprig of mistletoe in their house at Xmas. They pinned it to the ceiling as you walked into the front room so you had to walk under it and get kissed when you visited. great times.......

Mmmmm maybe try n get mine when the hot security guard is on shift in our local morrisons, heat heat heat X)

Wonder how many times the person giving it out has been kissed?

The staff in my local don't need mistletoe, according to my friend who works there the staff go into the toilets and do it themselves

Mistletoe is a parasitic, it grows from seed (inside the mistletoe berries). If you have an apple tree scrape a small area of the bark off a branch and smear the berry (sticky) onto the cleared area. Then wait, and wait, and wait.......

It'll grow on an apple tree? I thought it was picky about who it buddied up with. I might try this.

It's a myth that you should scrape bark off - and one of the reasons many people fail to grow mistletoe. The seeds have evolved to work from outside the bark - just as they would be if planted by birds smearing the berries. I've grown it fairly easily following the advice on the mistletoe.org.uk website.

Well I did a big shop in Morrisons today and I wasn't offered any mistletoe:(

The women in my local are not atractive enough to kiss under the mistletoe
