We tried this. It was a ridiculous amount of hassle for what you get. Totally not worth the time unless you literally have nothing to do with your day.

I am happily rolling in vouchers and stamps for this xmas and begin my 5th year next month. Its not alot of work for the price of 12 1st and 4 1st parcel stamps a month. Not rocket science. Saved me a fortune.

Same here

I’ve done this before. Easy if you work from home and live near a post office.

There is another one they do where you make a note of unnamed mail e.g. leaflets etc that don’t have your name on but are delivered by the post office. You do this over a 3 week period and they send you a £5 love to shop voucher.

Signed up last time it was posted, did it for about a month then they said they didn’t need me. Got an email out of the blue last week saying welcome to the posting panel, your first pack will be sent In January- no thanks!

I signed up last time and kept everything. Didn't bother with it so had stamps and jiffy bags, etc

I signed up was told I was included never got anything

Considering how important this data is to Royal Mail, the reward for all that effort is completely out of proportion!

OK if you are constantly having to go to the post office for something like Ebay anyway.
On its own it's not worth it....I recently started the Kantar TNS Life of Mail study which is a lot easier as you can input all the data onto their app straight from your phone. You input all the mail you receive for the first week of each month and then record what you did with it during that month.
£10 Love to Shop voucher at the end of the month is easy work for little effort.
Much prefer this compared to op deal.

Scam you don’t get nothing. They give on yet details to other crap companies,

Did this for a few years until we moved 4 years ago then wouldnt let me do it anymore.Got easier and quicker as time went on.Hubby sold most of presentation packs on Ebay and just used last of the stamps we got as dont use many stamps.

And that statement is based on...?

Absolutely baseless and quite possibly defamatory.

I totally agree - fourth year for me and I have won quite a few prizes too.

I did this for well over a year. You end up missing so target postage hours because - real life. You receive more than the stamps some envelopes, blank paper and occasional stamp packs. But it can be a lot of work.... its basically sending chain letters and logging the receipt and sending details

I tried it last time someone posted here, it was OK do for a while, but then the amount of letters start building up. Can't believe the amount of paper they waste to just send their letters. It wasn't for me having to visit the post office often. But it's very easy to opt out if it gets too much.

I do this when invited as i find it entertaining! I also want to highlight how bad the post is around here. Letters take days to arrive when they should arrive earlier. So useful to have alerted royal mail to the problem in my area.

as part of participating, i also get invited to do correctly delivered survey, which is great value as all you do is tell them how many letters you receive each day over a two week period, then you get £5 in shopping vouchers

Waste of time, they expect to much and you only get paid in stamps, can't recommend.

This is like a full time job!! Ok when you can pop them in a post box, but when it comes to post office visits and set time deliveries. Gosh!!

Signed up a couple of months ago, new members no longer get stamps, just £5.50 in Lovetoshop vouchers every 3 months, ridiculously low amount for the effort you have to put in!

This would be ok if you didn't have to post and receive cube parcels.
You have to pay for them with your cash and you get vouchers back a month later to reimburse you. You get about 40p extra in vouchers but I'd rather not do that part at all. They want you to post things on specific days, some things posted in the morning, some in the afternoon. If you work its not so easy to fit it in and you need someone to be at home for the parcels.
1 pack of 12 1st stamps and 4 pack large ones per month for 6 months.

They’re ripping you off ... I get a £10 voucher for this.

When I have had to post a cube the £4 love to shop vouchers have been included in the posting pack and it usually costs £3.40 to post them. They send another £2 worth of vouchers the following month.

I will stop doing it if they change to £5.50 every 3 months.

I’ve done this for 5+ years, I work full time. But luckily have. A post office on my travel to work/ home. And I post box at end of my road. Easy to do this survey, and rewarded with stamps which saves me a lot of money. You make it work for you. The posting days/ times are a guideline and as long you record which day you post it is easy.

Much as I hate the name calling.......
Snowflakes is the word that springs to mind

if the £5.50 l t s vouchers thing is true then fair enough

at the end of the day it is a survey not a job yo don't have to take it that seriously

Just won't work for everyone & didn't for us.

Spent way too much time with the paperwork to be worth it; as well as parking costs stacking up due to where our post office is. Also the posting days/times were extremely specific for us with little leway or options. I'm guessing how it works varies depending on location.

We did this for 6 months before giving up. We did it when someone mentioned it on a savings group, thinking it would be reasonably hassle-free but it ended up taking way too much of our time for the rewards. So its something people should consider before jumping in.

Anything of value in the box, Sir? Nope. Just a chunk of toxic green foam.

Starts off easy, but rapidly gets quite involved. They soon start taking the píss (post the 5 inch cube between 10.00am - 11.00am at a Post Office.)

Might suit some people prepared to work for 1/5 minimum wage though.

Must be different in different areas as I don’t get a time slot to post a cube. All I get is post on a day either before, after lunch or before last posting time. And that doesn’t matter as long as it’s on the correct day before the last posting time.

Prehaps it is because I am in a rural location and they are not to bothered about the time?

Works for me quite well and helps when I sell items on eBay as I can use the stamps to make up the postage value. So saves me money as well

I have been doing this for a while and they dont ask you to post at specific time, except before end of posting day for me. Mainly letters or DVD boxes that go into letter boxes so i just chuck them in to the post box as i walk past, which i do several times a day any way.

on the rare occasion, i have to post a cube at the post office, but again just be the end of the day. Sometimes it says before mid day but if you dont do so, it doesnt really matter.

i would encourage people to do this if they walk past a post box any way or go near a post office so it doesnt take too much effort. It is a survey to help royal mail work efficiently and we all have a vested interest in this as we all want our letters and parcels delivered on time, and by doing these sort of surveys, you will help royal mail identify where the problem routes are and make the delivery service more efficient for us all.

i am pleased that royal mail even care about making their delivery more efficient, so as customers who will be the actual party that will benefit, we should make an effort to help improve delievery. It is not about the stamps, so dont let this distract you from the true purpose

2nd year for me. Got loads of stamps I end up giving away. Lots of vouchers. You just need to be organised, keeping a diary helps. Inputting information is simple. I will continue as long as they allow me to

They use bits of polystyrene these days
been doing this for four years only ever been asked to post things before or after 'last collection' and as the post box here is 9am weekdays and 7am Saturday mostly ignore that
Same with posting at a post office post box over a mile away they can stuff that
You don't get cube the first couple of months then one or two a week
just do it when I am going past mostly and at a sub post office not the main one to avoid waiting

You can also book 'holidays' so make sure you do that in the second half of your six month even if you are not going away

Not worth your time or effort
