The above thread suggests this isn't a new thing? And what's the "up to £3.50" thing? There's no postage to pay at all unless you choose Next Day. I don't get it.

Not noticed if you get free delivery on a £3.50 min spend before, maybe a new thing

Oh RIGHT, I see. Personally I'd change the thread title to read "Free standard delivery on all orders (£3.50 min spend)" - which I think is a bit clearer.

Are you quite sure about this? It doesn't say anything on their site about a minimum spend for free delivery? In fact this is on the sidebar:

You ar hard work today BristolDeals

But doesn't that mean the postage itself is worth up to £3.50? i.e. You get free postage unless it costs them over that amount? :-D It needs to be clear!

Thanks for that BritolDeals

This definitely isn't a new offer. I've been ordering loads from these for well over a year and even 1 book orders have been free delivery... even the 1.99 order i made.

This has been going since the beginning of the year. You used to have to buy 4 books (or sets) to get free P+P but they changed it to get more people reading! It's worth checking the book people first though as their prices are sometimes cheaper than red house. (Gruffalo set was £8.99 at red house or £6.99 with an extra cd at book people last month)
