Free Starbucks coffee with today's Guardian

Free Starbucks coffee with today's Guardian

Found 26th Sep 2008
On page 32 of the Guardian there is a voucher for a free Starbucks coffee.

The voucher is similar to the one from a couple of weeks ago. I had a lovely Vente caramel machiato worth £3.15.

The Guardian itself costs 80p so maybe this should not be considered a freebie. If so, please move it where it belongs

It is a freebie in my opinion because you get it free when you buy the Guardian, just like the other freebie where you get free Sainsbury's food when you buy the Sun.

Does it have to redeemed today and anyother terms and conditions etc? cheers

From the paper:
Offer only available on the 26th September 2008. Bring this coupon to the nearest store to enjoy one complementary espresso based beverage on us while stocks last. No cash alternative. One per person. Offer valid at participating stores only. Cannot be combined with other offers. Not valid if reproduced.

All stores around my office took it last time. One of the baristas in one of our trips to the shops (many of my colleagues took up the offer) did not want the coupons so we ended having two coffees with the same one. I guess they may have been better trained today and they will take it.

For 80p (cost of the Guardian) you can get a coffee up to £3.15. I said maybe it was not considered a freebie. I still think saying it is cold because of that is a bit harsh.

In the Guardian today also on page 2 of the film and music section there is a voucher for a preview of Gomorrah on Sunday 5 Oct 11am.

So for 80p I got two cinema tickets and an expensive coffee.

Just about to leave for Starbucks, and I see this. You rock! Whether you think of it as free, or 80p, it's flipping brilliant.
