It says it's only valid for one hour, but that's rubbish, right?

App offline for maintenance

That's myVodafone half the time, read app reviews How many times does the app need maintenance in a week?!

It was down for maintenance just after midnight today too. It’s always down. They put offers on, then put their app down in the middle of the day when people are most likely to use them. It’s happened to me before just as I was about to go and get an offer. I tweeted them about it but they didn’t care.

Nearly every day the app is down at midnight, only goes up at around 6am usually but yesterday was early (nearer to 5am).

On the other hand, I have never noticed any app go under maintenance more than a few times a month, yet Vodafone manages to do it every day!

Yep. You shouldn't need the SIM card inserted in order to use the app! EE allow it, O2 allow it, Three allow it (just Wuntu though) and so should Vodafone.

Yeah it's ridiculous. Imagine if you got the bus somewhere or car or whatever just to get an offer and the app was ok when you left. Then when you got to the place it was then down so you couldn't get the offer? I'd be fuming. Not all places accept screenshots either. They need to do maintenance at more convenient times. I've gone to get an offer before and when I got there the app was then down. Luckily it was walking distance but it was still am inconvenience. I told Vodafone that they give with one hand and take back with the other.

It has happened to me once. I know not to trust Vodafone with these offers now, usually screenshot or screen record if needed.

I'll have to look into how to do screen recording in case they don't accept screenshots. It's a good idea. Thanks for that.

Codes wouldn't scan at my self service so wasn't able to use any today
I have 12 months Nintendo Switch online via Twitch Prime. Not going to use it so if anyone fancies swapping it for a few Tesco codes then PM me!

It happens in scanners in certain locations. I tried to use in Royals Southend Express and it was an absolute nightmare as the self service is near the window - took 5 mins to scan Clubcard and another 5 to scan 1 code.

I went to an Extra store and had no issues because the lighting was much better.

This happened to me in Newcastle Kingston Park Extra store. I'll try again tomorrow 😁

I did that too :/
Picked up my stationery item earlier:

38384344-6DL1A.jpg
Yes, I know it isn't stationery, but I don't feel bad because it will remain stationary in my fridge until I open it in a few days when I've used up the current one.
Folk keep saying the screenshotted code will work with a self scanning machine.

I usually go to the manned checkout
Presumably, this would scan/work in the same way?

(I'm not good with technology)
