Is that the new Google Home speaker?
Looks like a great offer, but I can't find the free bit on the website. Do you simply march in and ask for one free, or is there a Starbucks version of a masonic handshake?
BigMonster19 m ago

Don't bother. They're vile.

Buuut, it's a freebie. As members of this site, we're honourbound to go for it.

Actually, as it's an invitation to find our favourite, we technically have to try them all in order to determine which is our favourite, or in your case, maybe least disliked.
Advertise it for the homeless as well especially in this cold weather it'd really help out

The only good tea is an iced tea.
I've had the Green Tea Latte several times previously, it tastes a little like cake, but tried the Red Apple Rooibos Latte the other day and it was absolutely delicious, if a little bit on the sweet side (you can always ask them to reduce the amount of red apple syrup).

I remember lastime when they were giving some free drinks out, they had a poster on the day advertising it,so presumably it will be the same on Tuesday.

Starbucks don’t believe in niceties

heated, but I'm going to miss it most likely
Heat, never go to Starbucks but a free matcha latte without added sugar from the high street - and a chain at that is pretty good in the UK.

To think in Japan you can get them from McDonalds and any coffee shop.

Such limited choice here, but it's getting better.

In Japan and HK,you can get everything flavoured with matcha green tea.

True. Matcha ice cream, biscuits, cake, the works.

Much prefer black sesame ice cream though, delicious.

Given how much coffee shops charge it'd be nice to see a proper choice of good plant milks, and matcha and proper cocoa / hot chocolate. And Irish/liqueur coffee while we're at it (but none seem to want to go down that route).

Some dissarano in a coffee is a lot nicer than almond syrup!

But yeah, credit to Starbucks for doing a matcha latte on the high street with no added sugar.
Will see if it tastes any good!

Cheers OP. Cafe Nero and Starbucks tomorrow it looks like.

Page 5 of the Metro newspaper today has an advert saying "participating Starbucks stores in Great Britain" so I know that is not much clearer but I would guess it will be in all stores.

it is for a tall 'Teavana Tea Latte' and excludes chai tea latte.

enjoy to those who get to try this out
Hmmmm this conflicts with my Free Nero from O2. How unthoughtful of them!

It's probably all stores which let you redeem My Starbucks Rewards, so that excludes some franchisees, most of the motorway/service station ones and some on-platform railway station stores.

Wow... I've lived a sheltered tea life. Who knew other than regular teas (PG, Tetley, Yorkshire, herbal etc) there were so many other varie-Teas

Yeah, matcha (green tea) flavour foods are very common in Asia. Ice creams, bubble tea, cakes, chocolates etc .
I would recommend everyone to get a Red Apple tea latte but if you want a different get it with syrup like caramel or vanilla.
Tried their Matcha latte previously, gonna try Apple roobois this time! Hope starbucks will keep Matcha a permanent fixture as Matcha *anything* is my absolute favourite!!
Bad enough when someone makes you a milky cuppa without it being made with pure milk.
Anything that you need to put syrup in to make it taste good was not a good drink to begin with IMHO.

Yea, but a bit far to go for a latte, TBH.

Heat added. Many thanks..
So do I need the Starbucks app for this or can I just roll up and ask for a free drink?

Oh wow, that’s amazing! I live in Oxfordshire though so would have ever spotted that. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
It's up on a sign in the door in my local Starbucks - literally just ask for what the freebies are and I am sure they will list off the options.

This is a marketing campaign to get people trying them / talking about them, not a dodgy exploit! (note - I love a dodgy exploit as much as the next HUKD user)

Voted hot.
I've gone for the Red apple one it's delicious!
