A pedestrian crossing the road can only really be a risk to themselves so I'm happy for them to take as little or as much care as they wish.

If a cyclist in front of me waits for a green light before going and holds me up at the lights that's far more infuriating than having them pass me buy as I'm waiting, I've chosen my vehicle and I'm happy with it.

Despite what others say I don't often see cyclists do anything dangerous as I doubt they want to be hit by anything. If they do something dangerous and it doesn't work they're unlikely to penetrate my windscreen far enough to harm me.

If parents have to be told their children are their own responsibility shouldn't they be taken away from them?

What about Adult Friend Finder?

Any thing to help and make users incl children is a great thing and keep ALL the family together and safe.
Also removes innocent road users and pedestrians from seeing the aftermath of a collision or miss judgement!

Spot on. Was travelling on the A13 this afternoon and a lady in front of me was travelling at 35mph on a 50mph road! People behind me were swerving left and right to overtake her. I honked at her as I passed by and she had to be miles away as she didn;t even blink !

Continuing...
THINK! If you are East European, don't drive on our roads without a British license. We use indicators on our roads in our country and we also don't drive down the wrong way to speed past traffic and then try to merge at the far end.

THINK! when you are emerging from a side road into a main road, don't have half of your car already out in the main road and then look left and right for cars!

THINK! Watch both ways before walking across a road. We might not want to stop just because you think we will avoid trying hitting you.

THINK! Don't drive with one hand. You cannot be smoking with your right hand while driving with your left hand.

One simply cannot browse that website and drive at the same time, it's these fangled touch screen phones!

ALL cyclists should have indeminty or collision insurance BY LAW! Far too long these morons have had their own way. IF I drive I have to wear a seatbelt although its my own head that goes squish!

THINK! Cyclists who are injured not wearing a British Safety Standard helmet, reflective vest and working lights GET NO COMPENSATION at all!

I agree about cyclists needing insurance, they cause accidents too yet have zero cover.

THINK ! People from any other countries who live in Britain and drive on our roads should by Law have to take a British Driving Test within 12 months of being here and after that not be allowed to drive until they have passed our Driving Test.

THINK! These stickers will not make any difference.

The target audience for much of this literature cannot or wilfully does not Think!
They be like OMG Think! WTF #notinmyvocabulary

Everyone thinks their way of driving/using the roads is the only way and everyone else must be wrong. Thats the main problem, no consideration for others. We are all guilty of f'ing and blinding at people when driving, but would we do the same if we saw them on the street? I doubt it

Depends how long the street is and how far your voice can travel!

I have two Dash cams (front one is 1080p and rear is 720p), I drive carefully and within the speed limit. IF dash cams were a legal requirement then the number of accidents would nose dive, make the law say the dash cams have to have GPS data to track speed and the accidents would fall further. Insurance premiums would tumble and the worst drivers would be off the roads in no time!

Oh do get off your myopic & "righteous" ass!
Many cyclists also drive, & have insurance that will cover them for allsorts
How about you get your car kitted out as high vis (instead of stealth black for instance) & kit yourself & passengers with flouro hi-viz attire in case anyone exits the vehicle putting themselves at risk from cars..
NB doubtless you have a thing about pedestrians too, what do you become when you exit your vehicle ...yes a ruddy pedestrian, unless you are davros king of the daleks or manouvered around in an old sedan chair via a bunch of your personal backside wiping flunkies!

bicycle helmets are not compulsory.

NB, folk *ought to* re-read & refresh their knowledge of the highway code every year, chances are you don't & never will beyond basic practise for your test, that actually makes you ill-informed & out of touch, ..just like your skewed perspective.

there is every chance you are not the perfect all knowing driver you think you are & getting on an alternate mode of road transport such as a bike from time to time develops better knowledge & understanding of the WHOLE situation surrounding traffic & your fellow road users, likely exposing your own faults, & incompetences.

Ah another one with an excess of the stupid gene possibly!?

Many insurance variants available, my sport insurance covers me for many activities all year round including personal liability, ...read the document.

Many CAR drivers are covered to drive / ride all sorts of vehicles (check yours), unless its been specifically tailored for you it may well cause you to re-think that statement.

& please remember there are many CAR drivers who drive without vehicular insurance, on the increase for many years.

Care to chance your arm on the percentage of alcohol related traffic accidents & the percentage involving car drivers as the root cause?

Car drivers are perfect then!? ..nah, if you think that get checked out for your tunnel vision (which may have your licence revoked).
c'mon, think before you talk in such a trite manner.

These are ridiculous ideas. A very narrow minded view of what you THINK! are simple solutions which in reality, are not.

Cry a bit more please you are funny. Ha ha.

Cripes you are succeeding in showing yourself to be such a knuckle dragging neanderthal type, (it's sad given that there is education in this country freely available in the early years) please don't be one of the halfwits who are a big part of the problem within the perception of "who owns the road" ..well its not you dumbass, we all pay for it through general taxation, so get a grip & change your diaper & as before respect your fellow road users & pedestrians, we all have close shaves however we travel, so to stigmatise all those you feel don't fit in with your clique is just another example of great ignorance on your part.

..please, if you cannot change, don't breed.

Thank you.
