I went to the London one last year when it was at the Olympia and it was a great day out with lots of samples to try out and freebies to take home

They've relocated this year into larger venues, so hopefully it should be bigger and better and as before the tickets are free and you can order as many as you need

Here's their spiel with more info:

We’ve got BIG news to share, FreeFromers, so get those diaries out!

We’re thrilled to announce that three editions of The Allergy & Free from Show will take place throughout 2020, two of which are at new and exciting locations…

SEC Glasgow, 7-8 March
ExCeL London, 3-5 July – NEW 2020 VENUE!
NEC Birmingham, 7-8 November – NEW 2020 VENUE!

The Allergy & Free From Shows are your events.

They exist for you and the millions of UK freefromers, wherever you live and whatever your reason for wanting freefrom products.

Our mission:

1. Give you a great day out, where you will
find the best freefrom products.

2. Host the shows in locations that allow
as many people as possible to attend.

That’s it! That’s our promise.

So we’ve been working around the clock to secure space at three of the UK's most iconic and accessible venues, in three of the biggest cities.

All you need to do now is pick your 2020 host city, book your FREE tickets and we'll see you there!

Thanks. Just ordered 2.
That’s not to be sniffed at
Sounds like a very niche show
Just be warned the parking is extortion! Last show we went to it was £16! Look at parking nearby such as Birmingham international railway car park or even sports resorts world on nec site too

I actually don’t think people understand how awful some allergic reactions are! It’s not seen as serious in places such as restaurants enough, almost an inconvenience to staff! Hopefully in light of recent high profile cases they will catch on because they have too!
This year it's in the Excel so a bit to far for me. However, not a bad show combined with vegan show.
My wife has an allergy to spending her own money, but not to mine
My son has quite a few allergies so thought this would be a safe space for him. Nope, they were doing a cooking demonstration and cooked eggs of all things, to which he has an airborne allergy.

He had an anaphylactic reaction and ended up in A&E.

Sorry to hear that. That's really awful.

I didn't notice any cooking demonstrations with egg when I went. Hopefully it was because they learnt from it. As I'm sure you know, the tickets include the Vegan show too and so I'm really surprised that a exhibitor chose to cook with egg. Anyway, hopefully they won't be there this year and the exhibition clamps down on it.

Although the actions of one thoughtless individual has probably put you off for good. Maybe give them a call if you do fancy it, to help ensure that any live cooking takes your son's and other people's allergies and life choices into account?
Sneeze and you’ll miss it
