Worked for me. Box of Huggies baby wipes for £11.67 and nappy disposal was free. Nice present for my niece who is expecting a baby in April.
Are bags expensive for this, any experiences?

Official ones are £10.79 for pack of 3.
It is this price in Mothercare also they have stacks of them marked down from £27 to £10.

Cheers, think it's cheaper to buy Tesco's 35p bags for 300

There are cheaper ways to dispose of nappies, but this device worked quite well i.e. was very convenient when we had a little one in the house.

If you are ALREADY a prime member, then why would you buy from elsewhere?

No-one is signing up to prime JUST to get this deal....so the monthly cost is irrelevant.
Worked for me, the £10 bin counts towards £20 worth of add on items.
Thanks OP
We found this bin a bit of a gimmick.

We used it for our first with cartridges but for our second without the cartridges. Worked fine just as a bin to be honest.

Cartridges are expensive and the cynic in me says giving a free bin is just a way to tie you in with buying the cartridges.

Well, if you think everyone on HUKD is a prime member... If you are not a prime member and want to just shell out a 2 £ more (Like me, as JL is close to my place), for me that is also a deal...

Good to hear that you can just use it a bin. Might as well get it as we needed a nappy bin!

They aren’t nearly as good. Don’t keep any of the smell in, AT ALL. The real cartridges keep the smell in. We have a barely used roll of the cheap refill stuff as it was just a waste of time.
We have one of these. Used it for a few months, then went back to standard scented nappy bags. Cost a fraction of the price of the refills. As is always the case with this type of thing; that's where they get you.
Looks like this can be claimed multiple times, if you know a lot of pregnant people or want one all over the house

I use one of these I find it less chaotic than using nappy bags, personal opinion of course

We just use Sainsbury's basic nappy bags.
When you are going through 50 a week, you don't need this as an extra cost. Bibs going out daily at this rate.
If you are that bothered by smell buy a pot pourri.
A little convoluted but got it. Money is taken off at the very last step before payment
Thanks op, needed to buy something anyway, so this for free was an added bonus plus for those who spent over £20 u can claim a free baby box too (once items have dispatched)
Not a pleasant experience with this bin. If it’s free then ok just put nappy in normal nappy bag and push into bin. If you use the cartridges be warned..... you push the nappy into top of bin and it goes into a bag...each time you put a nappy in it keeps filling up the bag(not sealing each one as I thought) when you go to empty the bin Bejezzzzz you are hit with that ‘smell’ and a long sock like looking bag full of dirty nappies! Empty it daily!!!!!!! There is a cutter inside that you need to cut the bag and seal it. Don’t be fooled into thinking it does it for you!!

A 3-pack of refill cartridges run around £10-£11 depending on if you do subscribe and save etc.

The bin is very much a loss-leading product as you then need to pay a heap for the refills. Think razors and cartridges, etc!

Saying all that I absolutely love it, never had a problem with it keeping nasty smells in and genuinely think its worth the money.
Awesome works a treat

Your not using it right!!

Works perfectly for me, you just need to do a complete circle with the handle to seal the bag.

We only use our for dirty nappies and empty once a week, never any smell and cartridges last around 2 months.

Absolutely. These are just a way to sell excruciatingly expensive nappy bags to parents with more money than sense. A bit like the people who will insist on branded nappies!
Babies... why would you want one... messy noisy things...
