Lol. I did the free tour last week. Really nice setup there and easy access from A9. Also, there's 20% off their bottles in the shop, which worked out cheaper than Amazon for the ones I bought. I like to buy direct from the distillery and support them when possible.

Yes I like to support struggling multinationals like Diageo whenever possible as well.

I take it you weren't aware they are owned by one of the worlds largest distillers Diageo?

Yes, I am fully aware who owns them at the moment. Oh and it was already pointed out just a few posts before ! The point is, the visitor centre is open at this quiet time of year and providing employment for local people. Yes, the free tour is a great idea to get people into the shop and although the profits go to a big nasty multinational, some of the money spent there might justify the visitor centre being open in future quiet periods.
