This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

With tours of the HoP normally costing £25.50 p/p, you can however get free tickets via your MP. Although tickets are not guaranteed, I know of several people who have got tickets via this method, so it is definitely worth a shot if you are interested

Debates & PMQ info

What does the tour cover?

A knowledgeable guide will accompany you on this 75 minute tour that describes how the business and traditions of both Houses contribute to the day to day workings of the UK Parliament. Some of the history of the Palace of Westminster is also highlighted.

When the Houses are sitting, the full tour route may not always be available and can be subject to last minute changes or cancellation due to parliamentary business.

How can I book this tour?

UK residents should contact their local MP, or a Member of the House of Lords, to arrange a tour. You do not have to know your MP personally or support them politically. There is no charge for tours booked in this way.

These tours can be booked up to 6 months in advance. Early booking is recommended if you want to book a tour on a specific date but is not essential if you are flexible about when you can visit.

Quite often your MP will make an effort to meet with you.
EYES TO RIGHT, NOSES TO LEFT....
Would be worth it to go and top load a toilet
My MP is Sinn Fein.

They are like flies. You will prob find a gathering outside the cubicle.
Good info OP. Emailed my MP to see if I can bag a freebie. Be a laugh to see the usual Wednesday squabble in person when they return from their summer break.
75 mins. Wow.
Great for children to experience House of Parliament but I'd would rather keep them away for the lieing, two faced, thieving scumbags.
Could I also bring along my two friends...

Cheaper then going to the zoo or watching ill-behaved school children

My MP is Mark Francois. I would rather pay the £25.50 than meet that .........
I keep meaning to do this. Thanks for the reminder.

My local idiot doesn’t go to anything unless press involved

Thanks OP for the information.
Have had the privilege of going on one these MP sponsored tours (when the house was not sitting) We were able to go into both chambers, and there is good facilities for the disabled.
Certainly worth the time and a very interesting tour, very informative.
Would just advise anyone who is considering taking their own car, parking is really expensive, up to £40 for 4 hours in the car par under College Green!!!!!

I think I paid less for 6hours, just 5mins away from Westminster Palace

Certainly worth it if you are planning a visit to London. You don't have to meet your MP to get this merely write to him/her to get the tickets.

We did this a few years ago. Absolutely wonderful to experience the place. Westminster Hall is sublime. Contact your MP and make sure you take your passport with you.

If you go during the recess you're unlikely to meet your MP. However you're much more likely to get the full tour, including visiting the floors of both Houses as there's nothing going on in them.
Is there a gift shop?

I have no wish to meet my MP, he's a c.o.c.k, all I wanted was the free tour
Might as well go to the zoo and watch monkeys fling their poo at one another.
I've booked mine. Thanks.

Mr. G. Fawkes
Did this recently but my MP, one Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson refused to meet me and my daughter. Perhaps didn't help that he knows me and the views we share wouldn't fill the head of a pin :-)

Hey now, they've put in a lot of work voting everything down so nothing gets done!

If they were to slack off for one second something binding might actually pass!
