same here might be a spamming link :-(

hmm how do they send the toy if all they ask for is the postcode?

That's what I thought - just got a welcome e-mail but no mention of the freebie - went back into check my profile and I can't see anywhere to add my address???

just registered and was about to ask the same question as everyone else!!!!!

maybe it will be a voucher sent by email to claim from a shop or something

just have to wait and see

I tried that link and I went to the same place, entered age and then it took me to a page where the only address detail you could enter was your post code, exactly the same as going in from the OP's link. I've signed up a friend who is expecting, hope they get the toy.

This link doesn't work for me either.

Seems like it might be a spamming link......Info goes through a server in the USA!

Not asking for full address, also..... Site not secure with a security certificate! Id be careful with this one..

EXACTLY!

I don't see any problem with it whatsoever. It's a big company trying to get you on their mailing list. As it is a big company it should be easy to opt out.

You don't need a door number to find a person, only when it is a financial transaction, so no real need to enter it.

Whilst you don't need a door number to track down most people, it would certainly make sense to ask for one!

My post code, for instance, covers about 15 houses, at least one having the same surname as me.

My feeling on this is that they have no intention of sending out any toys.

I dont think the royal mail would be happy with:

Mrs Smith
BA11 5UP

each post code covers several houses.

I expect it will be a voucher by email, I really don't know what all the fuss is about there is nothing dodgy looking http://img.moneysavingexpert.com/smilies/confused-smiley-013.gif

Then it would be asking for a 'Zip Code' not a postcode - everyone knows that - and the form I filled in definately said 'postcode'.

and it said mum and dad instead of mom and pop

Sorry mate, that's extremely bad misinformation.

1. In the USA, it's called a "zip code".
2. You have it completely opposite: A "zip code" tells the postal service a lot LESS than a "postcode". A zip code covers a large area in the USA. The US postal service now also has an option of an extended zip code which is the zip code plus an extra 4 digits. When that is used (which is not common), it becomes similar to a postcode, but still a postcode is closer than even an extended zip code.

Can I have the lead on the side, please?

If a Super Moderator has this many Posts: 24,859 I would'nt think it was spam ?? just a
