This will probably get voted cold immediately, but this may be of use to those who are close to buying a Sat Nav. Buy either the Navman S50 or S70 and get a Traffic Cradle worth £54.95 free. I have done a quick check and the Sat Nav themselves seem well priced.

I bought the S70 a couple of months ago and this would have been a nice freebie.

This isn't something that is very easy to spot on Amazon and I don't think you are made aware of the offer if you take the stand alone unit through to check out.

Might be of use.

Link is an Amazon dead page (404) for me, but WHAT stand alone sat-nav by ANY maker doesn't come with a cradle in the first place? I am not seeing the point.

No, this cradle is ALSO a receiver to pick up any traffic news etc. The standard cradle which came with mine some time ago is JUST a charger/holder type thing.

Strange - the link was working when I posted. I have found it again and updated the direct link.

Failing that, try......

So why resurrect a thread that has been dead for months ? :-(

If a deal is still on after a few days it is usually because it is not much of a "deal" in the first place!
Not much use searching old threads for bargains, the info you get out of those threads is for comparing with current deals, or user's experiences.
