Capitalism knows no bounds. "We'll charge you a monthly fee for the privilege of a small discount shopping at our overpriced stores."

We pay for Amazon subscription, but aleasr we get prime with that
Bah, signed up to plus at the start of the month, figured I would save at least a few quid after the £8 a month fee.

Obviously depends on where you shop and how much you spend. I don't think it would be worth it if you tend to shop elsewhere but if you spend £100 a week at Tesco then it makes sense. Of course, to take advantage of the 2 shops you would want to consolidate your big shop into something like once a fortnight and keep the weekly for the fresh stuff (milk, bread etc).

And that's a deal because?...
Where's the link, how do you get this, cannot see it?
Great deal. Thanks OP
This only seems to be an offer for people who are subscribed to MySupermarket
Wooo save 20% off big shop £20 or over sure why not and all your savings go into paying for this lol so why not try it if u spend £200 a month it’s worth it lol

true but there is Costco ?
Thanks OP, might take this up for the free trial. As I understand it online isn't included, but I forgot to book the delivery slots so will be going in and battling my way around old-school with a trolley. Suppose I could do this and save a few quid.

If your shop comes to £210 or so, is the discount capped or do you need to keep your bill under £200? Don't normally spend that, but I could get the booze at the same time to maximise it.

Discount is capped to £20, your bill can be any amount
Damn, I was going to post this but assumed it was code specific. Still not sure it would tempt me back from Lidl.

Because it’s free, as long as you cancel before the renewal, and it saves you money.
It’s not rocket science.
Why does it not cover online orders? Tesco home delivery is so slick these days, I don't think I will step into the shop ever again.
Well I don't see a code and I don't have an email either even though I'm on the subscription list.
Apologies if my brain is not working, is this code generic or different for everyone?

Code is different for everyone
shame not available for delivery as we don't go to the store for the big shop anymore.
Or shop at Aldi/Lidl and save around 30% every shop without a fee!

I guess this'll appeal to the Prime adicts who don't seem to mind paying for the privilege of being locked into one retailer.

It's not about the cost every time. Tesco/Asda/Sainsbury's have a vast range of products which can never be matched by Aldi/Lidl.
I got this last week via a email from Swagbucks. Daft not to give it a trial, could save quite a few quid over four Xmas shops.

It’s the world we live in now, trying to cash in on Amazon Prime I suppose. With the Tesco one beware, as there are limits to what can be spent and what has to be spent to earn the discounts

Totally different deal, but if you download airtime rewards and link your bank cards you are able to claim back 10% on shops over £30 at Morrisons instore Rewards can also be gained at other shops and the discount will come off your O2 phone bill if you are on O2, just a heads up ppl.

Is there s link to the 2 month trail?
Hopeless until they include online shops. Surely no-one spends two hours pushing trolley around store anymore?
I have an account with my supermarket and didn't receive the email 😩
I'm struggling to see the value, Tesco already make money off your data for using clubcard, the current clubcard deals are weak, and now they want you to pay for something that used to be free with clubcard discount vouchers they used to send out. I guess there is one born every day if you're prepared to pay a supermarket a monthly fee on top of their high prices to fool you into thinking you're saving money. However if you can get rid of it after the trial is up then go for it.

There is no value. It's the usual Tesco ripoff. They already charge around 25% more than Aldi or Lidl for the average basket of groceries (and there's no difference in the food - it all comes from the same suppliers) so however you look at this it's a bad deal.

The only way shopping at Tesco makes any sense at all is if you need home deliveries (at a price of course because of the higher food costs) - but home delievries don't qualify for the 10% discount.

I disagree. I shop online at Tesco and generally only buy things when they are half price so cheaper than lidl. I dont see much difference in prices for own brand products. The fact I dont have to drive 4 miles, spend half an hour shopping and 20 minutes in a queue helps

Delivery is free as I just use accumulated clubcard points to buy the delivery saver pass.

Rarely spend more than £40 per week (2 adults). Always home Cook and restrict processed food purchases. Difficult to source ingredients in lidl but do shop there occasionally for smart purchases like laundry products.
