I know it's £6.49 for a roll of cling film, but this stuff is excellent. Ready To Tear Cling Film (30cm x 100m) | Lakeland

No more messy ends, and throwing away wasted cling film. Every 30cm square is perforated so just by tearing, you get a clean straight edge every time you use it and each roll lasts absolutely ages.

I have these rather than using cling film to cover things over
    They are washable and reusable

Genuinely asking, why not just use a plate?

I tried the strong silicone ones and I found them a pain because sometimes it's not possible to put them on with 1 hand (with the other hand holding the pan/bowl). These look better, but some reviewers comment that they are a pain to clean, and I imagine take a while to dry too. Also, they don't look durable like the silicone ones.
