Plus net if you pay your line rental yearly is still £15.50 plus you need to add £3 for evening and weekend calls plus £2.50 for broadband. So its not cheeper
Or try Virgin without a phone line.
Cheaper and faster.
there's no trying allowed just renting.

Plusnet increased their yearly line rental by £30-£40 two days ago, so a little bit more expensive. I ordered the night before just in time

it was for me when I ordered on 31 August - my yearly line rental was £155. Fibre was £5 for the first 6 months then £14.99 for the remainder unlimed download and speeds of up to 36 MB my line was limited to 24 MB, which I am guaranteed with fibre, and that is way better than you get with standard broadband. Anytime calls an additional £5 per month. Best deal on the net at the time.

unfortunately topcashback only offered me a flat fee rate of £11 when I signed up to plusnet (now it looks like the fee is only £10.50). How did you manage to get £94.50?

The exclusive rate expired at midnight on either 31st August or 1st September, I presume it was only up for a week or less. I remember as it was just before PlusNet increased their line rental prices as well the following week. I didn't realise it was particularly special until after it expired and saw the new rate - I had only just started looking because TalkTalk let me leave due to the rise in contract price.
