will they do it for any phones i.e. n95 and are there any other means of contacting them other than writing?

cant you do it over the phone?

will term time apply ?

Yay if it works - they must be following vodaphone.

any one got unlock code?

I've requested mine - will let you know if it comes...

OMG NOOOOOOOOOOOO :'( i unlocked my phone about a fortnight ago for £15
good offer though

Does it work for T-mobile phones that are now out of contract, and if you now have no dealings with T-mobile?

Hot anyway.

If it is becoming the law - I wonder what mobile company will be the last to do it?

My money would be on Orange or VIrgin.

its most likely to work with phones out of contract m8

T-Mobile will unlock ANY PHONE THAT IS LOCKED TO THEIR NETWORK , as long as your prepared to pay £15 and wait up to 28 working days this cannot be done over phone but you can just call through to customer services and they will send email to SUBPIN SERVICES for you , i know this info is correct as i am a T-Mobile Trainer working in the uk contact centres

So this isn't free?

no im afraid not

Well - I wrote for mine from T-Mobile last week and guess what arrived today - a very long code (which worked !!!) on a nice letter. Unlocked Sony Ericsson W810i now...

Worked for me - I offered to pay by cheque....

Anyone else try for one and what happened....

how much? :whistling:

I sent a letter in the post to the above, and included my email address in the letter. On Wednesday they sent me an email with a code, which did not work. I replied Wednesday night, and Friday morning they sent me a new code which worked. I have about 6 months left on my contract.

And yes, it was absolutely free.

not bad

What was the email address? I assume we could email instead of snail mail and therefore possibly speed up the process.

Does any one know if PAYG phones are included in this?

sorry to bump an old thread up but has anyone recently had any success from the info gained from this thread?

I have a t-mobile payg and t-mobile contract phone (sony k810i) and i want to unlock it.

Is what I got told from T-Mobile - I didn't write to that address though.

Also got told they can deduct the £15 from your actual account credit as payment. That was for payg, dunno about contract.

i wrote off a while back and have heard nothing, either this is nonsense or they are over-subscribed...

This really does work!
I just received my unlocking code from them for my N95.
I am at month14 of my 18 month contract.

Thanks a lot.

guys please believe me when i tell you this is not free we may not ask for immediate payment but you will be billed for unlocking your phone, we HAVE TO CHARGE as this code is from the manufactures as is the only way to unlock your phone WITHOUT EFFECTING THE MANUFACTURERS GUARENTEE

seems long time ago but can someone confirm this is still valid?

Is this service still active?
