Thought this was great as the valves are nearly £20 by themselves . Offer includes ANY kudox radiator. Add valves manually into basket then discount is added. Enjoy

That's a very good deal.

How hard is it to swap a radiator? I have a couple that could do with been replaced with newer looking ones.

It's pretty easy. The hardest part is knowing where to hang the brackets. But the measurements are usually provided in the instructions

All Kudox radiators in new catalogue are much more expensive than in old catalogue so they still get money back for the free valves.Go to B and Q and get them much cheaper and just buy the valves if you need them.

They are not cheaper at BnQ

You can buy a TRV for well under £10 let alone £20....

but a trv under a tenner probably is a false economy... unfortunately as I need lots!

Prove it !!

Why does every lock shield & TRV pack come without a drain off lockshield - they should be standard for every radiator.

I find Mr Central Heating to be the cheapest for rads in general, and they are alright quality. Coupled with a RAS-C2 valve and l/s and they are probably still going to come out cheaper overall.

If you are going from imperial to metric (easy way to tell is if they aren't in standard 100mm length variants) then it will require pipework alterations, if you want a neat job just use a plumber.

B and Q price Kudox Type 21 Double Plus Panel Radiator, (H)500 (W)1200mm

600 x 1000 21 is more expensive at B&Q - £61 compared to £60.75 I've looked at a few more, some are cheaper at B&Q others similarly priced. (trade accounts with both). Another reason not to use Kingfisher group when their prices are so frustrating..

£90 at trade prices for an identical radiator in the same B&Q shop using Tradepoint, no wonder I have never used them.

Let's not include the trade prices as not everyone can get them. Ynos then include the price of the valves clever clogs

prove what? that a cheap trv (under a tenner) isn't worth it? have bought cheap in the past and regretted it a they don't last long/work well. the ones included in this deal are not the cheap ones though, but Drayton. I was referring to the other comment.

Good deal if they have the size you want. I had to go to Mrcentralheating who didn't give me a free trv but we're £30 cheaper and delivery was first class.

Local DIY stores will be cheaper.
The quality of the radiators is the same ( according to my dad who's a plumber)
600 X 1000 T21 is around £45 in Huddersfield

Spent about £400 on 7 rads a couple of days ago - see below.

They were a mix of Type 21 & Type 11 by Ultraheat from a local merchant and were complete with grills and side panels.

Pricing seemed competitive and next day availability swung it. Quality seems pretty good too.

Plumb Center have Stelrads at a similar price but they were OOS for 2wks of some of the sizes I needed.

Wickes have Type 21's on special at the moment but that excludes grill and side panels. When these additions are factored in, pricing is similar to the Ultraheats I have quoted and the Stelrads mentioned but, again, they didn't have stock of one of the sizes I required.

Although Mr CH was coming in cheaper for their own brand Revive rads, have heard a few stories of them being noisy when heating up/cooling so decided to avoid.

Pricing:

Type 21
600mm x 1200mm = £66.32 x 3 = £198.96
400mm x 1600mm = £73.39
600mm x 1000mm = £55.37

Type 11
600mm x 900mm = £29.93
600mm x 1000mm = £33.23
