Men with the following medical conditions are entitled to FREE NHS prescriptions for PDE-5 inhibitors:
diabetes
multiple sclerosis
Parkinson’s disease
polio
prostate cancer / prostate surgery
spina bifida
certain genetic conditions, such as Huntington's disease
pelvic surgery – which is often used to remove tumours (growths) or to treat conditions such as incontinence
surgical removal of the prostate gland (prostatectomy) – which is often used to treat prostate cancer
dialysis for kidney failure
kidney transplant


The link provided says nothing about this being 'free'. It says only that "Men with the following medical conditions are entitled to NHS prescriptions for PDE-5 inhibitors".

It's not free if you have diabetes unless you are on tablets or insulin to control the diabetes......
Otherwise u can get an NHS prescription but still have to pay the NHS fee of £8/£9,

Sildenafil (generic Viagra) is no longer on the SLS in England, so you don't need one of those conditions for it to be prescribed for you.
