Registered Saturday did speed test yesterday and I am now up to 10mb impressed. Mind you they have increased the price by £2,:) as the 2mb went up by £2.:)

Mmm called them last week and they said the upgrade would happen automatically anytime between now and OCTOBER!!

I was under the impression that if you took the optional speed upgrade it also included a far more restrictive download policy so not sure this is actually a good deal!

Website is now running like a dog! lol

Just registered and it said thank you for your interest, your modem is suitable for 10mb. Said nothing about any dates that it would be upgraded on.

dont know if ne1 else has had the same experience but as far as im concerned Virgin are a joke. Took 1 month to install (they cancelled 4 times) and when they finally did install the picture was dire (watching through HDMI) and the "free" HD was 1 channel!!!!

Just my experience but me personally I wouldnt use Virgin if THEY paid ME. Needless to say Virgin collecting on Tuesday Sky being installed same day

No it doesn't - see many other people's messages that state they have to wait 2 months. It only seems to work if they have already upgraded your area

you can get your username and email address if you click on the link (you just need you bill details - i just did that)

They have been informing customers about this for ages now. I guess it's your own fault for not reading the letters.

I changed to e-billing ages ago to avoid the charge.

Funnily enough our bill has gone up from this month though!

You mean there is a more restricted download limit?
For christs sake, they've capped us already although aren't admitting it, it means that streaming radio or even watching a youtube video is impossible.
