Thanks, this is a PayPoint scheme so from experience I know some shops are better than others at knowing how to use their machine!

yeah last time i tried to use a similar scheme (shop save scan) i got shouted at by the cashier for making everyone wait "for the sake of bloody 20p"

Naturally I walked off and left my item, knowing full well she couldn't cancel the item off herself without a supervisor. I hate rude people!

You dont have to print the voucher you just need the code and take it to a store with paypoint who will do the transaction, also, if you clear your cookies you can get another code for another pack too

(I haven't!)

My co-op charge 87p for these so I had to pay 12p as the voucher was only for 75p.

The official note on Payzone webiste to retailers do say customer do not have to pay the difference whatver the selling price is.

•If you sell Walkers Deep Ridged for more than the amount shown on the receipt simply call 0207 960 2571 to claim the additional amount. PLEASE DO NOT ASK THE CUSTOMER TO PAY THE DIFFERENCE.

It is hassle and costs a lot more for shop to claim the 12p difference but hey, customer is king!

I spotted this voucher on a freebie web site. I printed the voucher and took it into a shop from the list. The newsagent said they never give away free stuff. I explained I had a voucher and that meant I could have the crisps for FREE. She would not budge and said the shop address did not appear on the coupon.

says voucher used but first time clicking on the offer

My local shop said the same to me, they don't accept newspaper vouchers either so I don't go there anymore...

They want my mobile number. No thanks!

What a charming woman, very well-suited for dealing with the public. Let's hope she got the hairdryer treatment from her supervisor. Can't stand that attitude either.
