Yorkshire water customer - worked!!

thanks, anglian water customer and ordered to flush reducer things

welsh water not onboard

This keeps popping up on HUKD every so often but it's worth a reminder voted hot thanks.

Ok these are "FREE" but really we are all paying for these in our bills. The practical use of these items are limited and the cost in energy to produce these and post them out will take time to recoup.
Lets see what we have here.....
Save a flush. Basically the same as putting a brick in your tank and reduces the amount of water used per flush (if you get a floater you will need to double flush and end up using even more water).
Showersave is not suitable for electric or power showers so rules out most applications
Tap aerators just restrict the flow and will increase pressure in the tap neck (post tap seal) and can result in leaks and frustratingly slow fill of bowls/kettles ect.
4 minute shower timer is basically just a sand timer and if you spend time looking at it you will not get showered in 4 minutes........just use an adjustable kitchen timer (wind up) witha bell.
Think before you order and just tell the water companies to get their leaks fixed promptly and stop wasting water.

Very well said marty-401. Totally agree. Do not order something and waste them even they are free.

The shower head is rubbish.....I have received twice in 3 years and it broke within 15 days. Quality is rubbish.

It's free but not worth it

ordered cheers
