I am aware that this is for very limited audience (London Vodafone customers), but is useful if you travel on Underground.

This from the vodafone website:

Who's eligible for WiFi on the London Underground?
Use our table to see if you're eligible to use WiFi on the London Underground.

Who can use it from 29 January 2013?
Pay as you go customers with internet as part of their plan.
All Pay monthly customers - both those with and without internet as part of their plan.

How much does it cost?
There's no extra charge, as long as you're eligible.

How do you connect?
It takes seconds. Just follow these easy steps:

Switch on your device's Wi-Fi when you're in a station with WiFi on the London Underground
In your Wi-Fi settings, choose "Virgin Media WiFi"
Hit the browser button which will take you to the portal, then choose the Vodafone icon
On the Vodafone registration page, enter your My Vodafone username and password
Refresh your browser and off you go

Maybe because it's not a deal?

It's not "free" as you need to have an existing service with Virgin, EE, Orange, T Mobile or Vodafone to have it. If you don't have any then you have to buy wifi time.

it is free. i dont pay my contract to EE for me to have free wi-fi
EE struck a deal with Virgin to all all EE customers to get free wi-fi on the underground if i was on o2, i'd have to pay
